Excellent Unique Light Upgrade
I bought this kit to replace the boring signal lights that Lego provides to you with their road plates set. In my opinion, this kit is a must for this set, as these traffic lights not only light up, but they display a signal change pattern for that added realism. While I would agree with other reviewers that it would have been cooler if they didn't flash yellow during the transition from red to green, I am glad that someone out there is actually trying to make it kinda thing at all, considering this kit is the only one I have found that attempts to replicate the changing light pattern of a real traffic signal. Was easy to connect it up, requiring a power source such as an energy bank or connection to a direct USB port.Overall, an A+ product from a small business that has provided a unique product!! Good for them....

Just don't get this, there are better choices
I thought the item had a battery pack and only needed recharged and not that it needed a constant power source. To make matters worse, I'm having a hard time returning the items because the return label is not paid for and the seller is expecting me to pay hundreds to return to China. First experience so far. DO NOT BUY!

Small wires can be a problem, otherwise looks great
Be warned, this was a very technical build, despite it's very small size. The wires need to be threaded through the bricks and out to a battery pack. I also had an issue with one of the wires falling out. These are very small wires.Despite that, it looks fantastic now. The lights are bright and works very well. There's not much variety, but it adds a ton of life and seems like a good value.

Nice lights, flashing sequence off.
These are near additions, one ocd complaint. The light sequence on these is a little odd. To will go green, flashing yellow, red, flashing yellow, then green. Not really stop light patterns, but they still add a lot to the look. Would give 5 if they had a correct pattern.

A very cool detail for the brick enthusiast
The media could not be loaded. For under twenty greenbacks this is a fun & cool detail for your brick train system. This is a quick and easy build due to well constructed bricks that are pre-drilled in the critical points. Unlike other post-install LED this one did not require any modifications, e.g. filing. I like the automated function of the lights as it adds a sense of realism to your setup.I would not recommend this for young kids or those who don’t like delicate detail work. The wire used is durable and near invisible, yet can get damaged. The only hurdle I experienced with this kit was mounting the lights to the main structure….frankly you need to use CA glue or something similar (the instructions don’t call this out) to mount…it wasn’t hard at all, but you need to be careful and work slow.I added a video and pic so that you get a sense of this kit. I recommend because of the value & UX is deepened.

Goes great with Lego Speed Champions.
I collect Lego Speed Champion cars and thought that this traffic light would go great with them. Building took less than 5 minutes as it was super easy. It's USB powered so I used a small power bank to power it. They looks great with a Lego street plate with these lights. Looks like they're about to race lol. I like the light pattern but it goes from green to yellow flashing, then red flashing which is kind of off from real street lights. For $12.99 as of this review, I think it's worth it, especially if you have Lego city and or Speed Champion cars. They'll go great together. Highly recommended!
