Worked perfectly to fix my propane fire pit.

Fit well and was easy to install.

I got this to replace my rusted out old control panel on my fire pit and it works great. It was relatively easy to install because of the design of my fire pit. You will likely need a couple of washers to mount the sensor if you do not have the correct hole size.

My fire pit used step down flex tubing from the bottle to the control valve and from the control valve to the mixing fitting. Flex tubing has fittings that appear to be a metric thread. The controller I purchased can connect directly to hose-style fittings from the LP bottle. No adapter is available to match my connections. So much for "Universal" I tried to return the new control valve because it wouldn't fit and found out this is a non-returnable item, even though it was never installed in propane service. Bottom Line: I'm out $20, the new controller is in the trash, and the firepit is on the street.

I wanted to love this but it was intended to replace a similar device on an expensive British diesel heating unit and the thread size is wrong. Not a problem with the unit - but with British threads - UGH
