Smells beautiful and its really nice on your skin

Smells great and the scent lasts. Some reviews said it is strong, but I did not find it so. A true rose scent, I think.

Pretty tin. Rose fragrance is a bit old fashioned not modern. I had hoped it would compliment my rose water but it is very different. The powder is silky and works well with a powder puff.

Yardley is my go to for scented talc. This product comes in a tin can (love that old-school container) with an easy to open/close top. The holes in the top are just the right size to shake out the right amount of talc. The can, itself, is attractive with an easy to grip shape. The talc is thick enough to only require a small amount for effect. I like to sprinkle the talc on after a shower. The talc is soft with a wonderful scent that will last all day. I find it difficult to find the rose scents so I was happy to find my favorite rose scent by my favorite producer, Yardley, in my favorite tin can. Love this stuff!

I am careful not to deliberately breath in the superfine talc used in Yardley powders. I like them because they don't have, for me, irritating granules when you sweat. The Red Rose powder is a strong scent, with a clear detergent/soapy scent overlaying a definitely rose fragrance. It made me think of a Mr Lincoln rose, with heavy duty soap. Clothes help reduce the soap scent. The Yardley Red Rose powder reminds me of my grant aunt's pink and gray bathroom in the early 70's. In that respect, its a good scent compared to other bathroom odors! I also go the English Rose. Love it and the Sandlewood. I've tried Lily of the Valley but its too strong for me use (age brought a hyperallergy to fragrances). It does smell like the flowers I remember growing under the maple tree... Lavender powder is also too strong for me, though it works ok as a soap.
