I used this Orion Motor Tech spring compressor on a suspension job and it did exactly what it’s supposed to. The build feels sturdy and the hooks and threaded rods handle compression smoothly without binding or feeling unsafe. Spring compressors are inherently sketchy tools if you rush with them, but this one gave me confidence once everything was set up right. It compresses evenly and holds tension without slipping when you take your time with it.

Help a lot to change my shocks absorber, no problems for use, resistent material, recomended 100%.

Nice case cant say how well they work because they didnt fit for what I was doing my own fault not the products nothing negative to say.

These spring composers are a big step over the old set they replace. There is a locking pin that holds the compressors in place that makes these compressors much safer than my old set. The price is great for what you get. Could not be happier. Dave

These spring compressors function well and are well built but the hooks were too small to fit around the springs on my 4 runner and engage the safety pins. They were strong enough to compress the spring in a pinch but I wasn’t too happy to have to do it with out the pins engaged.

I wanted next day and that's what I got, but it's too big. I'll be grinding it down to fit my needs.

Did the job. Needed to put lowering springs in my car and this worked great for front strut spring replacement. I wouldn't say they are automotive shop level quality but definitely good enough for home to use here and there.

HAVE AN OLDER STYLE COMPRESSOR MEANT FOR BIGGER SPRINGS THAT WAS VERY SKETCHY WITH NO SFETY PIN. WILL FEEL MUCH BETTER USING THIS TOOL IN FUTURE.

It did the job on my 1997 BMW 528i. But the pins are not locking so it is a little dangerous in case it pops off. It happened to me and only because the other one was locked it did not go ballistic. I will shave off some of the metal on the pins witg dremel so they lock up before using it again

Easier (less scary) to use and less likely to slip than the last set I used. They seem to be well made. Don't forget to grease the threads before using!
