Compatible with Sony a6000
Very quick delivery. The Flash YN 560 IV is working fine with my Sony a6000. No problem whatsoever related to hot shoe compatibility as mentioned in many forums and on you tube. This works perfectly fine on Sony a6000, without any modification to hot shoe or playing with flash, it fits in nicely. Flash fires in M mode from Hot Shoe (I haven't tried multi mode as I don't use it, but it should work there too). I also triggered an age old Fuji Starblitz 3600 in slave mode with it. With Sony a6000 built in flash, I used YN 560 IV in slave (S-2 setting) and it fired correctly. The Flash is great value for money.

Best Manual Speedlight at a reasonable price.
Very good Manual Flash. You can use it in your camera hot shoe. It works fine with my Nikon D5200. You can use as an off-camera flash with slave mode (optical trigger). I use my pop-up flash in TTL mode as optical trigger it work fine. You can also buy a compatible trigger - Youngnuo 603-ii (haven't tested but my friend says it works perfectly, I'm planning to buy the trigger too).If you're not familiar with manual flash then this is the best one to learn flash photography.

After all a good flash
With all the negative reviews I was skeptical to buy this flash. But after using it for three sessions I feel better.Firstly I review the Flash Power: It has been clearly stated on the manual not use the flash continuously at full or 1/2 power. So I shot continuously at 1/8 and 1/4 th and feel satisfied. Also using it indoors and outdoors one may not need to work at full power. 1/128 and 1/64 are very low power but 1/32 is good enough for direct flash. I also shot about 10 shots at full power (bounce) and the results are good. The diffuser is good. The bounce plate is cheap plastic. The body appears reasonably good and it has taken one unintentional drop on wooden floor with no harm done. Only the battery door opened throwing the batteries out. Now it is working fine. So I should presume that the build quality is good. The only negative is the hot show mount is very loose in my EOS 1200 D and you need to screw it tight every time or there is chance of dropping the flash.Works in slave mode both s1 and s2.Have not tried remote trigger.

In the market for a speedlite? Just go ahead and buy it.
Most people have a bad image when you hear 'Made in China', this is totally wrong and this product is among many that will definitely make you change your mind. When you compare this with the original ones from NIKON and CANON you will be hard pressed not to get one of these for the price. Now for a more technical review, the build quality is better than what I expected. The buttons and display are quite good. The flash at 1/1 power is more than sufficient for most use.Comes with a stand and I tried this off camera with my nikon d5200, only way to trigger it is through the optical slave mode which is great since i don't own any wireless trigger. S1 for manual flash and S2 when you have TTL flash mode on your camera(for nikon). PLEASE NOTE that this is a manual flash( You need to manually set the flash power, if your like me and have little idea about it, you need to fire few rounds to get the proper exposure). The multi flash mode is a welcome feature that I didnt see on other cheap models. One of the biggest reason why I wound recommend this to anyone is mainly the price obviously and second- this has a built in transmitter and reciever which can be used with other yongnuo flashes so even if you upgrade your arsenal, this might find a use someday or the other.Batteries are not included and I purchased the flash from CAMSHOP, good packaging, quick delivery. Comes with a stand and a pouch.Update- I dropped it accidentally on a hard tile floor from head head and the batteries came flying out but the flash is 100% working, the metal mount was bent. So yes. Its a sturdy product.

Superb product, great value for money
Superb product, great value for money.no problem using with any camera on the hot shoe (direct) or as a slave triggered by built-in camera flash.Have not used the Transmitter component yet, so cannot comment on that part.Good build, built-in diffuser works fine as well.Stands firm on the small stand (provided with the product)Would definitely recommend the same...

Reliability issues.
Bought three of them ... one from amazon and two from local shops ...they have been working great .. a month back one of them was stuck in receiver mode at a specific flash power and froze at that setting .. no matter what I did the settings or modes wouldn’t change ... I left that flash aside for couple of days .. The next time I put batteries in and switched it on.. still the same ... Started pressing all the buttons like crazy .. and suddenly the lcd blinks weirdly .. i pull the batteries out wait for some time and put them back in and it’s still at the same mode and setting but this time everything back to normal . All is well . Not reliable is what i’d Say. My other two have worked perfectly no issues what so ever even after rough usage. Have a spare one just in case you’re doing paid work.
