Nice cap but has a terrible weakness
It's made of a mesh material that is light but strong. The mesh allows sweat to evaporate but the downside is that it allows more sunlight to hit the head than a dense material which is a problem given the intense Delhi heat. There's a metal clasp at the back that is used to adjust the fit of the cap. It works OK but has two sharp tabs that can hurt you if not careful with it. I use a hanky beneath the cap to absorb the sweat at the forehead as it does not have a useful sweat band. Update Aug 2017 : having used it for few months, I have found bad rusting on the metal clasp. Not sure how it's life will be affected but it looks terrible already. Plus if I cut myself on the sharp tabs, I am sure I will need a tetanus shot.
