Shawn attracted a following in 2013, when he began posting song covers on the video-sharing application Vine. The following year, he caught the attention of artist manager Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton, which led to him signing a deal with the record label. Mendes went on to release an EP in July 2014 and his debut studio album Handwritten (2015). His second album Illuminate came out in 2016. Both albums debuted atop of the US Billboard 200, with the first one making Mendes one of five artists to ever debut at #1 before the age of eighteen.

Can't stop listening
I read a review by an older adult who loved this album so, being one myself, I decided it was OK to try it after only hearing one song, In My Blood, which I loved, even though I am probably much older than the usual purchaser of a Shawn Mendes album. I also love to support homegrown Canadian artists. The music does not disappoint. Every track is awesome. I can't stop listening to it.

Finde " Senorita" von Shawn Mendes ganz toll, gebe das In der Suchmaske bei Amazon ein schreibe noch CD dabei und das Album erscheint, ich denke na dann kannste ja bedenkenlos bestellen.... und der Song ist nicht dabei....! Würde am liebsten kein Stern vergeben.

Listened to this almost exclusively for weeks!
I don’t buy an album unless I know I like at least 2-3 songs on it. And on a really favourite album I might like 10 out of 14 songs or so. This one by Shawn Mendes - I loved every single song!! Some hit me faster than others- funky Nervous and Particular Taste (very Prince-like) were initial faves. But then Mutual and Youth got into my brain too. Can’t say enough good things about these songs and this singer.
