Bought this backpack for a trip. It worked well holds 1 skateboard.

Good quality, ample space, lots of storage!

I have a teenager that skateboards to school and this serves him well. He's a boy so he's pretty hard on the backpack but so far it has held up. This allows him to carry his board hands free while he's at school and it's out of the way. And getting the board out of the velcro he says is pretty easy.

It's marketed as a skateboard bag and I agree it can definitely hand skateboards. I'm pleased to report it handles a lot more than your average skateboard though. I've used it to lug around my longboard which is already big to begin with. Where I was really wanting to see what all it could handle was with my performing equipment. I've been a fire performer for a long time and lugging around my fire gear along with all that goes with it, can really put bags through the ringer. So far this one is holding up really well. Nothing has ripped open or frayed which is usually what happens first. PLUS the fact that this is water resistant is awesome. I spill stuff all the time and nothing has gotten cross contaminated thus far. Can't really say if its water PROOF since I have really submerged it or really soaked it so far but otherwise its been a champ. It takes a beating without coming apart at the seams which is the most important thing of all. I chose this pack for my twenty y/o son because it offered a USB phone charger, and has a large capacity, while still being quite stylish. He loves it. He carries everything from gaming card collections, to notebooks, all of his electronics and both of his laptops, because why choose? He is always on the go, meeting with friends, working remotely from whichever game store or coffee house is on the calendar, or just kicking back at the park. This backpack has met all challenges. He says it is comfortable to wear with the width of the adjustable straps perfect to fit his husky size with no digging. The construction seems solid, all of the zippers are smooth, and he has a pocket for everything. He doesn’t have a skateboard, but has used the carry straps for other items and feels that they are a clever addition.I do wish that I had done some research into the phone charging feature. The battery to work this cost as much as the backpack, still, with his bus pass on a phone app, it gives piece of mind that he has a back up charge when and where he needs it, and I am glad it was an available feature.

My son wanted this backpack for school, because, even though he's not going to attach his skateboard to it to carry around campus, it was considered a cool design for him. Logistically, this backpack doesn't have exactly the same type of pocket configuration that other typical school backpacks have. However, he really likes it because it can fit a huge binder (the type you put all your separate folders for each class in. Also, the side pockets will fit a big water bottle without any problems. It also has a place to strap in a full sized laptop, and the strap is important because this backpack unzips almost fully open, so without this it would flop out. There are also many internal pouches to keep items secure from theft.Other backpacks had trouble with big metal water bottles, but this one doesn't. The shoulder straps are comfortable and padded. This is a heaver backpack than most because it is made of thicker material and has a lot of extra velcro. The extra velcro can be used to strap extra things, like your coat, to the backpack instead of a skateboard! It's like having extra hangers.

My 10-year-old skateboarder wanted a backpack so I could easily just throw his gear in and carry his board with ease. It’s a little bit bigger backpack for a 10-year-old but it holds his board holds. His helmet holds all of his pads and his drink perfectly. He’s super excited. Use it every time we go to the skate park.
