It's save me from having to buy a new dryer!
This thing has saved me so much. My wife accidentally washed a stuffed animal and it keeps catching the fluff that we thought was gone. It's not getting stuck in the vent lines and I'm not having to pull the dryer away from the wall to clean the outdoor vent. There is no space to access the outdoor vent, so this is a life and dryer saver.I got this because our dryer started under performing and was taking multiple cycles to dry, after cleaning the outdoor vent and hoses, putting this inline, I immediately saw the difference. Easy to clean and keep the air flowing!Sorry, it hasn't helped me find those missing socks 🧦 yet...

Safe dryer lint trap solution - Finally!
Easy install. Feel safer now. Our laundry room is located in the center of the house which makes for a dangerous route for the dryer vent. Now we are able to trap and remove lint before it gets trapped in piping which snakes up wall, across the attic, and out the roof vent.

Buy it
Its a great idea , only thing the hole size int the grate are a bit too large and the lint gets by and so you need another filter after to catch the very small particles in conjunction with this unit. Still like it and i just thru a piece of filter materialIn it as well and it works just fine.

worth having a secondary lint trap if there’s a question.
I’ve looked at quite a few of these and really struggled pulling the trigger. This one is metal with a plastic window, but given that it’s not right at the dryer it doesn’t get that hot. It comes with two screens and I’m surprised they get anything given how big they are, but they do. I added a mesh from Amazon to the finer filter and it definitely helped even more. Good purchase, easy to clean and install.

Works! Easy Install.
It’s crazy how much lint dryers throw out, even with a lint catcher. I love that this box has two grates to intercept and catch it, and the window allows you to easily monitor how much lint there is. The latch door makes it easy to quickly open and pull out the lint. I’m finding that I need to clean it about every other load. But it’s so easy to do, it kind of just becomes part of the routine. Very easy to install. It can make a rattle sound, as the air is suctioned through, but it’s not horrible.

Works, but poor design
Serves is purpose.2 design flaws:1. The 4” duct openings are slightly less than 4” causing ductwork to crimp when tightened with clamp.2. The 4” duct openings and the door latch are inline with each other making it impossible to recess the box into drywall.

Great Lint Trap, No More Roof Climbing!
Easy to install, where it is reachable and catches the lints first before it goes up the roof vent. I didn't used the flex hose that came with it. Instead i used a more insulated flexible hose that I also bought on Amazon and alumium tape to wrap around all of the hose end where you clamped it. There are two metal mesh lint catchers that you insert hortizonally and diagonally. The holes on these mesh are similar to the window screen you find around your house. The is a little bit of space within the lint trap box , between the hortizontal mesh insert and the top of the box that you can purchase some cheap finer mesh material filter to catch the finer, finer, finer lints, cut to size and stick it in there, which i did and it works it even better without your dryer stopping and showing error code for blockage. No more blockage and climbing roof to unclog! Quiet, no noise coming from the box.UPDATE: You would still need to open the box and clean out the lint , for me about every two cycles. If you purchase a separate finer mesh material filter that you insert in that extra top space that I mentioned, I find it is best to clean them with a lint roller. The lint roller picks up the lint faster than you trying to pick them out with your fingers 😀. I tried the washing method, it was ok, but you would still spend time to pick the lints with your fingers. Hope these tips help!
