a fix needed, but it is a wonderful thing
I bought this thinking that the mount is universal. I really liked the construction of the shock mount in heavy die case metal, but was really upset that I could not screw in my AKG P120 condenser mic. Then i decided to take it apart. Removed the central part of the mount, and removed the mic adapter. you can do it carefully with a wide flat thin screwdriver ( i used an army knife with a screwdriver tip ) . I took the stock adapter of the AKG and removed its screw flange and used the similar method to remove that. And voila, it was a perfect fit ! If you see the picture, the black screw adapter is AKG. Will post more pics if anyone wants it. It is now fitted and perfect for recording
