I am a Logitech fan, but bought a low quality gaming mouse and regretted every minute of the 3 months I made my arthritic hand suffer. I finally got this Logitech G305 a couple days ago and I (and my hand) are SO HAPPY! It's a perfect fit for my hand, with easy access during gaming to use side buttons and wheel. What I really love is the firmness of the wheel, both clicking it and for scrolling. The wheel has good grip and is far enough back from the edge of the mouse to not get accidentally clicked/rolled. The 4 speed options are great. The battery is way to install and the on/off switch underneath ensures battery life is good. I prefer the extra weight of a battery operated mouse vs chargeable. It is still a lightweight mouse, but I feel like I have more control of it for fast gaming situations. Grip is good, I didn't need to put my stick on grip tape on it. Love the green & purple colors! I have large hands for a female but this mouse fits perfectly in my hand with my fingers not struggling to reach the left/right controls, and not having to rotate the mouse to use the side buttons. So very happy! I play D4 so the mouse gets a workout during play as it holds 90% of my controls.

Love the bright color scheme! The buttons have a nice feel to their click — it has a nice feedback yet has a clicky sound without being too loud. Struggling to find a word to describe it with... "Muted" isn't quite right... Maybe "refined" is a good word. I love the button that allows you to control the DPI. It makes switching from different games that require more fine mouse control vs quick mouse control, and tasks that require quick vs fine movement. It's a nice weight too, very easy to set up.

logitech seems to engineer the right button on all their mice with an actuation pressure meant for the flap of a butterfly's wing. you could breathe a little too hard on the right button and it would click. in fact, i think if you merely dropped a single eyelash upon the right button, it would be enough to click it. i'm on my knees here, logitech. fix your freaking right buttons. you had it figured out like 10 years ago, where did it go so wrong?! also i kind of hate the texture of the plastic as it gives no real gripability, but that seems to be the material most mice are going with these days for whatever unfathomable reason. the size and shape are alright, though i feel with how slick the plastic is there ought to be more of a hump for the palm. color is gorgeous though, and the DPI options are really nice. not really worth its price point but if you can get it during a sale, sure go for it.

I recently purchased the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse, and I'm thrilled to share my positive review of this gaming peripheral. This mouse has exceeded my expectations and has proven to be an excellent addition to my gaming setup. Here are several reasons why I'm so pleased with it: First and foremost, the Logitech G305 offers outstanding wireless performance. The LIGHTSPEED wireless technology ensures a lag-free and responsive gaming experience, which is essential for competitive gaming. I never experienced any connectivity issues or delays during my gaming sessions. The Hero 12K Sensor with a maximum DPI of 12,000 is a standout feature. It provides precise tracking and accuracy, allowing for smooth and precise aiming in games. Whether I'm playing fast-paced shooters or strategy games, the sensor delivers exceptional performance. The lightweight design of the G305 is perfect for gamers who prefer a nimble and agile mouse. It's comfortable to use for extended gaming sessions, and the low weight makes it easy to flick and control during intense gameplay. The six programmable buttons are a practical addition. They allow for customization to suit specific gaming needs, and the button placement is intuitive. The ability to assign macros and shortcuts enhances my gaming efficiency. The impressive battery life of up to 250 hours on a single AA battery is a game-changer. It means I can game for an extended period without worrying about constantly changing or recharging the battery. This is a significant advantage for long gaming sessions or tournaments. The onboard memory is a valuable feature. It allows me to save my preferred settings and configurations directly to the mouse, so I can take my customized setup with me wherever I go without the need for software installations. In terms of build quality, the Logitech G305 feels solid and durable. The buttons are clicky and responsive, and the scroll wheel has a satisfying feel. It's clear that this mouse is built to withstand the demands of gaming. The price point of the G305 is competitive, considering the features and performance it offers. It provides excellent value for money in the gaming mouse market. In conclusion, the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse is a top-tier gaming peripheral that I highly recommend to gamers of all levels. Its wireless performance, high-precision sensor, lightweight design, programmable buttons, long battery life, onboard memory, build quality, and affordability make it an outstanding choice for competitive and casual gamers alike. Whether you're into FPS, MOBA, or any other gaming genre, this mouse can elevate your gaming experience. It's a reliable and versatile tool that delivers exceptional value.

Totally usable mouse that's also extremely outdated and has an overall bad shape and size (too small), at least in my opinion. The mouse would be a lot more usable if it was just a little bit bigger. I really like the click feel of the 2 main mouse buttons but all the extra ones aren't great, too small but have a nice satisfying click same sentiment with the wheel, not very good. The tracking isn't as reliable as other mice I have tried, even within the price point, and the fact it uses aa batteries and cant charge makes it just not that good, even for the price. There are way better options out there. One thing that is both good and bad is that it is a Logitech mouse that's supported in Logitech G Hub, it's great for customization and the macro editor is sufficient for me and will be for most people I think, but Logitech loves selling your data and selling overpriced and outdated products, I just have a hard time supporting them considering the things they do, like selling the G305 like it's a new product and wasn't released in 2018 without any major effort to update it to modern standards in terms of hardware (2018 was almost 8 years ago, a lot has changed since then).
