I bought these freezer blocks specifically to help cool down my fish tanks during the recent heatwaves, and they’ve been an absolute lifesaver. Once frozen, they stay cold for a good amount of time. I pop them into ziplock bags and float them in the tanks (never directly in the water) whenever the temperature starts creeping up. They bring the temperature down gradually and safely, without stressing the fish. They’re reusable, don’t leak or sweat much, and freeze quickly—perfect for rotating throughout the day if needed. I also appreciate that they’re compact enough to fit around the tank without being bulky.
