Works great, removed front sight on 55 yr old M1 with little effort

Worked absolutely perfect, site was off in 30 seconds, great tool A+++++

Oiling and using a punch and oiling and heating up with penetrating oil didn't work to get my M1 sight off, but this did in 3 minutes what I couldn't do in 3 hours. Right tool for the right job

The tool is well made and arrived quickly. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit my Universal M-1, but in going back to the original item description, they made that quite clear, and I just wasn't paying attention. So that's on me. I'll be able to grind this out and make it work, but the smart thing would have been to order the Universal M-1 tool from these guys--they said in the description they could provide one.

Easy to use for removing front sight of m1.

When I first went to order this tool, the Matrix product description warned owners of the Universal M-1 Carbine that the standard version of the tool would not fit or work with a Universal M-1 Carbine whose dimensions do not always exactly match G.I. specs for this very popular and widely manufactured carbine. Accordingly, I asked Matrix to send me their custom version of the tool specifically designed to work with the Universal. They did so and it fit and did the job perfectly.

The 1st one that I received failed so I contacted the seller and he immediately replaced it. Even replaced it with higher end version at no cost to me. Highly recommend seller hes very prompt very thorough and backs items. Thank you sir for the great tool.
