My youngest daughter just turned 5, and she loves cutesy cats. The words are a bit too difficult for her when she doesn't want to do it, to be fair though the advert does say 6 plus. For our 7 year old the words are easy.The game is top trumps, which is easy enough to get the hang of, explaining and demonstrating a couple of times is enough.Each card has a little picture and description of an activity, which can be read out to the child if they can't cope.The only thing that spoils it in my opinion, is that the back of /every/ card has the name of the manufacturer and pictures of facebook/instagram etc. etc. which spoils the cartoon images on the backs.

I bought the Top Trumps Hello Kitty for my niece, who is a massive Hello Kitty fan. I thought it would be a fun and educational way for us to spend some quality time together, plus she loves anything to do with Hello Kitty, so it seemed like a perfect gift.The packaging is bright and attractive, which immediately caught her eye. The cards themselves are nicely illustrated with cute Hello Kitty designs, each focusing on different hobbies and interests. My niece was thrilled to see all of her favourite characters in the game, and it did make her curious about the various hobbies featured on the cards.Playing the game is simple and straightforward, which is great for younger children. My niece, who is six, picked up the rules quickly and enjoyed comparing the different stats on the cards. It’s a nice way to introduce kids to concepts like numbers and comparisons without it feeling like a lesson.However, I noticed that the variety in the game is somewhat limited. After playing a few rounds, it felt a bit repetitive, and my niece started to lose interest quicker than I expected. The game could benefit from a bit more depth or variation in the cards to keep it engaging over time. Additionally, while the game is educational to a certain extent, it’s fairly basic, so don’t expect it to be a deep learning tool.That said, the game is still a hit in our house, particularly because of the Hello Kitty theme. It’s a great little gift for any young fan of the character, but don’t be surprised if the novelty wears off after a few plays. I love top trumps and I'd never seen a Hello Kitty version before!These are absolutely so cute and a great way to introduce younger kids and girls especially to the game. The box is very good quality and keeps cards neat and clean too. I absolutely love the illustrations and this would be a great gift for a collector of top trumps or a Hello Kitty fan. Definitely recommend.
