If you are a fan of smart internet of things like me, then definitely this is a very good choice. I already have two smart plugs which is connected to my Alexa and my Google Mini, and I have connected my table lamp to the smart plug. I majorly need it for my table lamp because the switch is kind of far from my desk place, I feel convenient calling Alexa.Since, I've connected my smart plug to this night lamp, I'm not able to use my smart plug anywhere, so was thinking of some other alternatives, then came across this which I love it and serves my purpose. Secondly, it's very convenient and portable as my smart plug, I can just carry it wherever I want and can fit in my backpack as well. Lastly, the timing, it's amazing, with my smart plug, this is the feature that's not currently present, I would this reduces a lot of things for me, I usually study and fall asleep at my desk most of the times, but when the light is on, it's kind of disturbing, with the feature to set the timing, I guess that's perfect for people like me (who are not really concerned about sleeping on the bed :P )I'm trying to see if there is a way I can buy a couple of these and fit in my chandelier as well, which I can do now itself, but the problem is I have to trigger the Alexa skill 5 times (since I have 5 bulbs in my chandelier), trying to see if there is way I can merge them all together to one single switch.Cons:>> Most of the lamp holders are designed to fit the light bulb just to the exact size, but when you try fitting this additional holder, the bulb starts to pop out of the holder which few may not be happy as the dome doesn't cover the light completely. It's around 10 cms from the holder.However, I'm not very much concerned about that but might need to think if you are considering this option.Overall love this smart bulb :)

This is a great way to turn your lights into wifi lights without having to spend a fortune to purchase wifi bulbs. Here you just pay for the adapter one time and can use whatever light bulb you wish. Works great, just join your home network. Great way to automate your home on a budget.

This is my 2nd order and went offline after 10 days and I tried resetting it but no luck...wifi won't connect after 10 days of use but the 1st one I order is still working with no problem. I hate sending back defective product since it will cost me more time going to the shipping place designated by Amazon.

Was easy to set up. Worked with app tuyasmart. Its the first app i used and seems to work with all wifi and echo dot. Set up easy. Been using since i got it. So far base seems normal.
