Why the price gouge on cashews?

What you're seeing is 3rd party sellers taking advantage of supply chain issues. The MSRP from planters likely hasn't changed but because main suppliers don't have inventory 3rd party sellers on Amazon are swooping in to price gouge. Similar thing is happening with the cat food I regularly order. MSRP is something like $43. 3rd party sellers are either buying up supplier inventory or waiting for inventory to run out and then listing it for $120/bag.

What type of sea salt is in these Cashews? There are good sea salts, and then the junk refined sea salt like in the grocery stores.

ALL IN ALL, SALT IS SALT. SEA SALT IS JUST SALT REFINED FROM SEA WATER AS OPPOSED TO REGULAR TABLE SALT WHICH COMES FROM MINES. THERE MAY BE DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS OF MINERALS IN SEA SALT DEPENDING ON WHICH BODY OF WATER IT WAS REFINED FROM. AS TO GOOD OR BAD.... ALL SALT CONTAINS SODIUM WHICH CAN AFFECT BLOOD PRESSURE. THERE ARE ENDLESS CAUTIONS FROM MYRIAD SOURCES ABOUT THIS. MAYBE MODERATION IS ONE ANSWER BUT THERE ARE ALSO HERBS AND SPICES YOU CAN EXPERIENCE TO PROVIDE FLAVOR TO FOODS. EAT UP !

There are 2 grams of sugar listed. Is this added to the cashews? Not listed in ingredients.

I asked google about the nutriant content of raw cashews and was sent to a site called "Medical News Today", which listed 1 ounce of raw cashews as having 1.68 grams of sugar, 157 calories, and 8.56 grams of carbohydrates. In checking a few more sites on the web, this information seems to be universal.

Peanut oil is a killer to some and makes some sick! why is this not stated on the label clearly?

Being health conscious, I've tried air-roasted cashews, and I was surprised how little flavor they have. My preference is a good dose of peanut oil and a pinch of sea salt for best flavor. I chose this product because it follows my preferred recipe, and it says "Peanut Oil" on the list of ingredients. In case is doesn't say so in Large Print and if I were allergic, I'd look as some of the smaller print to assure I don't get myself sick.
