Great for what we needed it for

The belt itself is very strong. It's made of the same material used for backpack straps. When tightened, it's very uncomfortable, however. The belt would simply cut through your skin. The buckle is also made of cheap plastic and will break easily

It's not fancy, but it's pretty strong. The plastic buckle is pretty big and easy for a person to engage/open.

Ordered this to keep my mom safe in her wheel chair and I had to wrap a towel around the belt for it to be comfortable. This is a basic nylon strap with no padding. As people get older their skin is very sensitive so padding on this strap would have been better. The buckle is very secure and the length is perfect for her wheel chair - she is 5'3 and 120 pounds. There are lots of seat belt / shoulder strap type cushions that can be purchased on Amazon. I really like my faux sheepskin version That I use for the shoulder strap in my truck and will buy one to use with this strap so my mom is comfortable. The pictures on Amazon are exactly what the strap looks like.
