Works great. I use this to store my electrode in between uses because the electrode is to never go dry. If you don't use the electrode for a long time and let it dry out, soak it in this solution for about an hour or more, then calibrate. No biggie. It will mold and grow bacteria in solution after awhile. I've found that rinsing the electrode in between uses helps keep this to a minimum.

Good quality solution keeps the electrode clean in between uses and it lasts a long time for the money excellent

This solution in needed to properly store your auto titration electrodes Lab chemicals reagents - just like HP/other brand printers the manufacturer gets you in the wallet when it's time to replace lab supplies (like the printer example - consumable toner/ink/special photo paper). This is the Hanna OEM replacement and work as advertised. The performance is fine, just wish the prices of Hanna replacement reagents/suppliers were ~50% lower. Amazon shipping was prompt.

I have a PH meter with a wet probe. It is very important to beep the probe in a buffer solution to void it drying out. Also a dry probe will make the auto calibration mode on a high end PH meter fail in some cases as the sensor itself not providing a signal strong enough for the meter to red. pH probes generate very low currents and millivolt levels so allowing the probe to dry out never a good idea. Of your probe is a wet probe it will have arrived inserted into a small pot with a rubber o ring seal.
