Before I got the chance to open and use the kit by reading the instructions and following the steps it started growing out the side of the box. I didn't know what to do with it so I just set it outside because I didn't want to have an issue with spores in my house. The instructions were under the network of growth concealed it. I didn't know what else to do so I just watched it and hoped for the best. It grew for a little bit and now it's just dead I guess... really a bummer 😞 and I missed the opportunity to get a refund so...boo...

I’ve grown mushrooms before but never lion’s mane so I decided to try this. It came fully inoculated and looks healthy. The included instructions seem to be for oyster mushrooms rather than lion’s mane so I looked up instructions online. Just cut a small x on one side, place it somewhere that gets indirect light, and spray 2-3 times daily. Lion’s mane takes longer to develop than other mushrooms but after about 1.5 weeks I think I’m seeing some denser mycelium growth near the opening. Looking forward to tasting fresh lion’s mane for the first time!

I've grown from a different brand before, nearby naturals, and had no problem with my indoor humidity levels. Really disappointed they don't exist anymore, so I tried this brand. The first one didn't do anything and just molded. The second replacement also a fail, only one side STARTED to grow, maybe less than an inch and then also just got dry and gross and stopped growing.... Not sure what's going on with these kits but it didn't work at all, I'd actually appreciate a refund without having to bother taking this moldy thing to Kolhs to return. I feel like if the substrate was already with the correct moisture level and had a good colony of mycelium going before shipping, this would work better. But this is a dry log that has to be soaked except it doesn't absorb any water. I think I'll try another brand. Two stars only for the fact that they actually reply to the messages on here.

Started the process as soon as I received the grow kit. Followed all the directions to a 'T' and no results. Kept it going and misting every day for weeks. After trying the same process on the base three different times and enduring no results for a month and a half, I gave up and put it in the garden where it may do some good as fertilizer! (BTW: I had three other oyster mushroom grow kits from another company going at the same time and they all grew 3 and 4 times with their same root system)

I had high hopes for this but was very disappointed. I would seek out another brand because this was a flop and $$ wasted.I followed the instructions to the letter.Presoak, proper environment, constructed moisture tent, provided mist irrigation on a regular schedule and this produced nothing. Zero growth. I'm re-soaking and placing outdoors and hope for the best.

Lo compre porque lei buenos reviews. Despues de mes y medio, lo unico que salieron fue unas colonias de gusanos blancos. He comprado de otras marcas y resultaron excelentes. Quise probar esta marca y fue una desolucion, ademas de ser la mas cara!!!
