Sturdy and looks good.
Super sturdy and great color options. This is a case inside a case which protects against damage. I’ve dropped my phone several times with no issues. It is a little bulky but worth it for the protection of this expensive phone.

Shatter proof phone
This phone case is durable. The value is great. I love a good hard shell phone case. The only thing I didn't like was I couldn't have my camera protective lens on. But, that's okay because the case is bulky enough and extends out just a little to be able to protect it as well.It looks nice and has good grip to it so it doesn't slide from your hands.Haven't tried the wireless charging just yet, but will venture into that later on.The case doesn't mess with the sound quality or the touch screen features at all.It was worth the 40 spent.

Top quality protection, great price
Well made. Perfect fit. Price was fair and reasonable. I’ve trusted otterbox products for my last three phones. Always able to trade in at top dollar based on the condition of my phone(s)

Great case—has to be to survive the zero-star holster
I recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone 16 Plus. My eight year-old iPhone 7 Plus is pristine because I have always kept it in an Otterbox Defender case; too bad Apple rendered it useless with software updates (but that's another story). Automatically bought this case for my new phone. It no longer comes with a holster, which I have always used, but they'll send you one for free if you request it on their web site. They needn't have bothered. As great as this case is (even though it no longer includes a screen protector), the holster is terrible. In all the years I carried the 7 Plus in its holster, I can't remember it ever popping out. This one does several times a day, and my phone falls to the ground. So far, no damage to the phone because the case itself is so good, but it's only a matter of time, especially considering how thin the bezel around the display is. I realize Otterbox has no control over Apple's goofy design decisions, like the way this phone is bristling with buttons they had to work around. But come on. Is this holster made by a completely different company? I'm disappointed to say the least, and I'm looking for an alternative. Interestingly enough, my iPhone 7 Plus Otterbox Defender holster seems to work better with this new phone than the one made for it. But if you don't use the holster, great case.

Expected Quality and Protection for your Mobile Device
Pretty much every iPhone I have ever owned has gone into an OtterBox on day one. I'm pretty protective of my equipment and while I don't get cases for my phones because I'm clumsy, I get them far more as a kind of "what if" insurance. Because there will eventually be a day where something happens and if I didn't have protection for my phone I will have wanted it. Being durable and stylish, OtterBox cases have always been the "gold standard" for mobile device protection in my mind, and that trend predictably continued when I got my iPhone 15 and then the 16.Something that surprised me about the OtterBox Defender cases I bought starting with the iPhone 15 was the lack of an integrated screen protector. All of my previous Defender cases had a built-in plastic sheet that protected the screen, but this was removed on the newer versions. People may get upset about this but honestly I see this omission as a GOOD thing. I can't tell you how many times I've had to periodically disassemble the Defender case on my older iPhones because some sort of debris made its way inside and managed to wedge itself between the screen protector and the actual display glass. It genuinely would not surprise me at all if that was the reason OtterBox decided to do away with integrated screen protectors entirely. This way I can slap a full-contact tempered glass screen protector on the phone before putting it in the OtterBox, and never have to worry about it again. The one minor gripe I have with the OtterBox Defender for the iPhone 16 is the cutout for the side camera button. I get that it's a capacitive touch-sensitive button, but I feel like there must be a solution which provides for full button functionality other than "I guess just cut a slice out of the case to expose the actual button." I'm no hardware engineer and maybe there truly is no good workable way to do it, but this solution feels... rushed? lazy? I don't know. Like I said it's a minor gripe, but it's odd to have my phone in an OtterBox where an actual device hardware button is exposed.Still very happy with this purchase, just like pretty much every previous OtterBox purchase I've made. I just hope they've fixed the issue where the outer jacket likes to warp and dislodge itself from the inner shell in some places. I didn't use my iPhone 15 long enough to know if it was an issue there, because that iPhone became a backup phone which was put into storage when I got the 16. Time will tell.OtterBox cases are still the best protection option out there, and you can't go wrong. They've got you covered. (HAW!)

Fits iPhone 16 perfectly
I thought it was kind of expensive, but after putting my iPhone 16 into it, seems well worth it. Well made, fit perfect. I’ve already dropped it on a hard floor, and no damage when it landed on the back and almost flat. The cutout for the iPhone 16 lower right button is nice. Not slippery feeling. Charging cover on the bottom will probably wear out but for now it seals tight. I’d like a case like this in safety orange if they made one.

Tough box but priced too high
Great protection for the phone. Back in the old days though, we got the case and screen protector. Now the case is twice the price of the old one and you have to pay the same for the screen protector. So we pay 4 times the price. But the plastic material is dripping in quality to. The edges on the case were rough and very prone to scratches. They used to be sturdier. But the box does its job well in protecting the phone. Otterbox has always produced a product that looks good and does its function.
