SCT X4 Programmer Tool - High-Performance Scan Tool - Model 7015PEO

I got this tuner to enhance the towing capabilities of my F350 diesel. I had to update the tuner before I could use it but it was a simple process and didn’t take but a few minutes.The tuner has several aspects to allow you to change some of your stock settings which is a nice feature. It plugs into your OBD port and once you load a tune, you can unplug it, no need to keep it plugged in. It comes with three tunes but you can access more via the internet for those wanting to tweak their engines even more.I loaded the performance tune to my diesel and wow, it made a HUGE difference in the power, probably added 100+ horsepower to my truck! I changed to the towing tune which boosted the HP and also the torque and it made a big difference when towing our 42’ fifth wheel. So far, MPG has not really went up or down but the truck definitely pulls a lot easier with the tune loaded.I’m really happy with this tuner for its ease of use and competitive price. I feel as if it is a well designed product and will definitely add performance to whatever vehicle you use it on. I highly recommend the SCT brand and this tuner specifically.

No it said it would work on my mustang cobra . Plugged it in and said vehicle not compatible

At first I was unhappy and couldn’t get it to work after some time I was able to figure it out and get it to work on my 2007f250 6.0.

I bought the item because on the website it says that it works on my vehicle after ordering it and receiving the item. I removed it from the box and plugged it in the vehicle's serves Port. And it gave me a error code. Can't communicate with vehicle. After reading what the error code was it states that it could be the battery or one of the pins on the cable so I got the battery replaced and it says the same thing error can't communicate with vehicle. So I got a little upset and started reading the manual and it says that it's for Ford vehicles and mine is a Chevy. So product doesn't work on Chevy's as the website says.

Did not work for my truck when it said it was compatible, 2014 F-150 eco boost.

For anyone that is confused...as was I since I am new to the tuning world. This works for my 2014 Ford F150 5.0 after loading custom aftermarket tunes to it, but note that this model tuner, the "POE" model, comes empty. There are no stock tunes that come with it pre-loaded. There are no functions available on it that can be used to tune or change any parameters of any kind. You will need to purchase custom written tunes from an independent tuning company, they will email you the tunes and you upload them to this tuner. From there you can flash your vehicle with the custom tune using this tuner, and once the tune is installed you can then access and change other features such as tire size, etc. Otherwise, if you buy this it will be of no use whatsoever until you have custom tunes loaded in to it. Giving it 5 stars since it works well for my 2014 Ford F150 5.0 and does everything it is advertised to do AFTER I loaded custom tunes to it.

Great product second one I’ve purchased however poor description this product does not work if you have a 5.0L F-150 I’m not sure of other models. Note it does come with a sticker that states it’s for 2.7 and 3.5l engines
