As an engineer I must say Torras makes the best products. They are by far the most functional. They look good. They continue to work non stop. They are surprisingly light weight. They don’t need maintenance to keep looking and working well. This iPad case is sensational. There is not a support angle I need that I can’t get on this baby. When I’m in a meeting and privacy is necessary, I can easily adjust for any lighting or seating arrangement. The pencil holder is perfect. It’s visible and secure. And it rests in a position that will keep it charged. I could not be happier with this purchase and no one paid me in any way to say that.

Material is mostly nice, the back kind can be scratched easily but they said they’ll be working on it (disclosure below for more info). The case is no larger than it needs to be, the innovative new stand design is amazing refresh and is very versatile. The big apprehensions I have, which aren’t that bad, is the stand can be a little loud when it snaps back closed and if you swing the case hard enough or anything the pencil will come loose easier then my last case. This is because the pencil holder is more magnetically based then physically grabbing. I prefer this more than any of the “flip” cases, where the stand flips over the screen when stowed, because it doesn’t put all the dirt and crap from the surface you were working on the screen. Downside to that is there’s not a lot of stowed screen protection but I never ran into any problems. I’ve bought many different cases for my ipad mini. This is by far the best one. The design is awesome because it’s slim but offers full protection and the back is frosted so you can see the Apple logo and has a very small lip to secure the pencil and not one of those bulky slots that makes the case look hideous. Buttons are great also, and the frame of the case has a metal feel to it but is probably polycarbonate or something but makes it look premium. The hinge and stand is metal and seems very durable and sturdy. The case may feel a little heavy but that’s because of its quality. Highly recommend and although it’s a bit pricey, you get what you paid for. Screen protector friendly also, used it with a Spigen guard.

I got this stand mostly so I would have something to grip when I read on my ipad mini in bed. The first stand was manufactured wrong and the company immediately reached out with a replacement which was surprising and great. The new case is sturdy, attractive and has held up well to travel and being held by the stand. My dog has stepped on it several times and there is no damage to the ipad or case. The Apple pencil stays on nicely and still charges through the case without causing unnecessary battery drain or issues.I can be thrifty so I was a little worried about this case, but now that I own it I think it is worth the extra money compared to a cheap case of which I have owned many.

fit: the quality build for sure, I like the fit to my iPad Pro. it was hard to put initially, but I managed to do so. I believe that indicates how tight the case is. so it's not loose at all. at first time I put, buttons didn't work, and then I realized I didn't put my ipad all the way in. after a little more push, it works perfectly fine, too.looks and weight: it looks heavy but it's not that heavy either. I can hold and use iPad just fine.protection: I haven't tested the protection for obvious reason.stand function: the stand works very well. portrait stand is very solid, and I like the angle even though I cannot adjust much for portrait mode. and the landscape stand works well, too. however I feel stand leg might need to be a little longer so that it can stand more straight than it can do now. but the current angle just works fine as well. but I want a little more flexibility just. it's minor suggestion for the product.I would say it's very good product overall, and I am recommending to friends.
