Peak Design Mobile Everyday Case compatible with iPhone 15 Pro Max - Redwood

I’m a phone case hound and have too many. But I don’t use junk.I like and have lots of PD gear, though never thought of putting my iPhone 15 pro max in one of their pieces. Anyways, no regrets here. The case is marvellous.I was concerned about getting the latest version which appears to be V 2.0 on the PD website. Nothing was written identifying this that I could find on either the Amazon.ca or Amazon.com sites. So I went with pictures and YouTube video information.The case Amazon.ca ships appears to certainly be the V 2.0. I say appears, as it has the small action button as the V 2.0 is illustrated on the PD website. But the packaging doesn’t have this written anywhere. Frustrating.The case is slim, well made, with the back fabric being a lovely canvas type material. Im really into canvas materials this year so I also have the PD bags, which are similar in material. A bit slippery though, even as I type this my fingers slide off the rear material. Not sure if oils from your hand will fix this over time. The buttons are all there, perfectly clicky (no different than my best cases). This case gets special marks for the MagSafe strength. The magnets are extremely strong. Likely on par with my SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle which is remarkably strong in this regard . It’s a hallmark feature of this case for me with all my MagSafe attachments. I suppose this is also meant for the PD accessories that attach magnetically and mechanically with the centre square bracket on the back of this case. Which doesn’t impede anything else by the way.Where we fall short in my opinion, are the lips/edges. The edges around the camera lens cutout are not very high. I would say flush with camera lenses. And the edges around the main screen are raised, but very little. I mean, less than most phone cases that I have. So bear that in mind. This is certainly designed to be slim fitting.There’s apparently an issue with screen protectors regarding this case I have read. I’m guessing this is why this product has fewer reviews than I imagined. I use the Best Buy house brand armour for my screen protector. I’m sorry I don’t remember the brand name. It’s available at Best Buy but only through their Geek Squad. They install it. It is not off the rack. It’s like a rubbery plastic. I’ve had it on three generations of phones and I’ve always like it. Very protective and doesn’t peel off. It works fine with this case and I experience no issues.I have not used any of the Slimlink attachments. So I can’t comment on those. I’d imagine they work well as everything else I have from PD is crafted with thoughtful expertise.I do recommend this case. But read up on the screen protector issue.

High quality case

The MagSafe magnet on this case is impressive. Made with amazing material and after 6 months the case still looks like new. Good protections. Way better than the PEAK Designs cases. (Though I want to love that crowd funding company)
