False advertising
The advert said it was suitable for soft furnishings. The label on the back says it's for use on hard non-porous surfaces. Not suitable for purpose.

Bye Bye, Bed Bugs!
If bed bugs have overstayed their welcome, READY STEADY DEFEND’s Cyper RTU spray is a solid eviction notice. This 200ml marvel works swiftly and sticks around to ensure your unwelcome guests don’t sneak back. Packed with 0.1% Cypermethrin and 0.1% ADBAC, it’s a potent formula that gets the job done without a fuss. The spray is non-staining, meaning your hard surfaces stay clean and clear. However, it’s not for fabrics or mattresses—this is strictly a "hard-surface-only" affair. For best results, follow the instructions as if your DIY credentials depend on it. Application is straightforward, and the low odour means you won’t feel like you’ve just entered a laboratory. The bottle’s compact size and efficiency make it good value, delivering impressive results without any unnecessary bells or whistles. In short, this spray is a dependable choice for turning your home into a no-bed-bug zone. Highly recommended for those who value effective pest control and a bit of peace of mind.

Easy to use and effective
This is an odourless bed bug spray that from all intensive purposes appears very effective. It's not staining and once applied you can forget it's there. The application is straightforward with its easy-to-use spray nozzle. I appreciate that it's both fast-acting and non-toxic, making it safe to use around pets and children. It effectively eliminates bed bugs at all stages of their lifecycle, including eggs, which is crucial for preventing re-infestation. Highly recommend it for anyone battling these persistent pests!

Not particularly useful
This is supposedly only meant for "hard non porous surfaces" and not for fabrics and such - which is strange because by nature, bedbugs hide in places like...beds in crevices and pockets. You're not going to find bedbugs wandering around on the floor, they just don't do that. However - a good use for this spray, and I need to triple confirm if (I hope I never have to lol) I find a live bedbug is a preventative spray down of all gear and stuff that's in my backpack when I get home from a long trip abroad. Typically my routine is to strip down and leave my rucksack outside before I enter the house, then bag it up and everything goes in the hot wash for several hours to prevent the risk of bringing bed bugs into the house. The problem with bedbugs is you can get attacked in a hotel room but the bites might not surface for a week later. I plan to use this to spray down my entire kit (including hard / plastic items) in my travel gear outdoors, let it soak, then throw in the wash. It certainly can't hurt and a extra step. I highly suspect that the reason this is only for "hard surfaces" is that with bedbugs, you need direct contact with poison to kill them - simply spraying your bed and hoping they'll crawl over it and die won't work. But I welcome this as an extra preventative step in decontamination. 200ml is not a huge bottle and it's OK value.
