I won't say that this deep fryer is awful. It's definitely cheaply made, however it came with all the pieces and nothing was damaged. Everything is very thin and the frying tanks are easily dentable, so do handle with some level of care. I saw a previous review talking about sharp corners and I am happy to report that all my pieces came with well rounded edges. As for actually frying something. The fire wasn't the easiest to start, the dials were loose and we had trouble getting it on in the first place. After that things went smoothly.
