Got a bad one (was causing system freezing with NVMe drive in M.2 slot). Works well after RMA.
I bought this board because it claimed that it supported both Ryzen 7 2700X and Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD. Luckily, the board recognized the CPU, so I was able to install Kubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10, and flashed the latest BIOS. Kubuntu seemed to work fine, but Windows crashed often until I realized that I had to install the latest Windows updates (it took a couple of hours), and installed Gigabyte's chipset drivers on Windows. But it turned out, both Kubuntu and Windows would freeze after about 20-30 minutes of idling. I ran memory tests, and there were no issues detected. The memory I use is Corsair CMK16GX4M2A2400C14R. Although it was not on the board's compatibility list, I read mostly good reviews about it. I did not overclock the system.I wasted several days trying to figure out what was wrong, and then out curiosity detached the Samsung 960 Pro M.2 SSD and installed an inexpensive WD Blue 500 GB SSD. And both Linux and Windows are now stable. So the problem seems to be with M.2 interface. I ordered an M.2 to PCIe adapter and will see what happens when I install the M.2 drive into it instead of the onboard M.2 slot.I was hoping to assemble an high-performance microATX system, and this was the only X370 microATX board that claimed a support for Ryzen 7 2700X, but it turned to be a piece of junk. Now I have to buy an ATX motherboard and and an ATX case in order to be able to use my expensive Samsung 960 Pro SSD.I tried to contact Gigabyte tech support on Gigabyte Web site and submit a question, but the site is not working properly - it displays errors.Definitely, I do not recommend this board. I have to say, my trust in Gigabyte whose faithful customer I have been since 2000 is undermined.UPDATE:I called Gigabyte, they only suggested that I call Amazon customer support and request an exchange. I did. A replacement was delivered in less than two days. I moved all components from the faulty board to the replacement board. NVMe SSD now works well both with a PCI Express adapter and in M.2 slot. So a faulty M.2 slot was the culprit. Changing 1 star to 4 stars. I can't set 5 stars because I wasted several days for finding out what was causing system freezes, and had to spend $9 on thermal paste in order to re-seat the CPU (and I had to drive to a BestBuy store). I am giving this board 4 stars as a credit to Gogabyte hoping that it will improve its quality control.Thank you Amazon customer service for quick and easy RMA.By the way, the replacement board that came with f21 BIOS again was able to boot with Ryzen 7 2700X (although full support of this CPU was implemented only in BIOS version f22), after which I immediately flashed version f23 (the latest).

Comically cheap and not terrible
I am a master at putting high end builds on low end motherboards and this is another board that I'm happy to add to my collection. This handles my Ryzen 7 2700X and R9 390 (soon to be RTX 2070) just fine.+ Secretly has an X370 chipset (even though the B350 is in the specs)+ 4 slots of RAM with dual channel, supports up to DDR4-3200. I'm running 2 x 8GB DDR4-3200 and it is speedy+ MicroATX form factor. I got tired or large builds so this is nice- RGB control is misleading: this board ONLY supports static in 7 colors, color cycles (jumps, not smooth), and off. The adversited "RGB Fusion" functions do not work with this board.- SATA ports blocked by GPU. Had to do some scary bending.- Only 1 system fan header- Only 2 USB 2.0 headersFunny story: The first time I bought this board, it completely died and wouldn't even give error codes. I was on an extended vacation, yet Amazon's return process was still smooth for getting the replacement to the right place. The replacement board had an old BIOS that didn't support Ryzen 7 2000s yet, so instead of using AMD's generous loaner processor policy, I found a friend with an 1800X to update it. The board has been going strong for a few months now. When you consider the features that this board has for its price, I'd say that it is pretty awesome.

I did come updated an updated bios! Was worried at first as I had no display hooked up to my TV. Put an old gpu in and found something was going on with my display from the apu. Went ahead and installed Windows and fiddled with stuff for a while. Found it odd Windows wasn't picking up the display at all with it plugged in. Changing a setting in bios to forced allowed Windows to detect the dispay. And I realized the problem was in the refresh rate. The apu was sending out at 64 hertz while my TV could only display at 60. Updating driver set the refresh rate to the max of my display and everything worked.

Good mid-range board
System specs:This boardRyzen 5 2400GCorsair Vengeance LPX 3200First board did not post at all. Lots of trouble shooting led to either bad board or bad CPU. Called Gigabyte and after explaining no post and what I had tried, explained that it was due to the board not recognizing the CPU and needed a BIOS flash. I completely disagreed since the box said Ryzen 2000 ready.Used Amazon support and they overnighted a new board and installed CPU and RAM and board botted into BIOS with no issues.Board is good for the price. 4 RAM slots is nice on a micro ATX board. BIOS is user friendly and overclocking options are easy to use. No complaints with the board itself.Sometimes you will get a dead board no matter which manufacturer so no problems there, but disappointed with tech support jumping on problem (old BIOS) that was fixed over 6 months ago.

Hidden Gem!
I chose to go with this mobo for a budget build and at $50 when I purchased it, I couldn't find anything near that price. Not to mention it has OC capabilities and much much more. The interface when entering the bios is user friendly as well, at least after you update the BIOS. I have had it for almost a year and have used 2 different processors and gpus in the build without any issues. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget or not. It's been a great Motherboard!

Partly defective but too late to send back now
-2 stars was removed due to the SATA Port 0, 1 and 2 (the ones at the very bottom right corner of the board) being defective and causing a random 100% disk freeze in Windows 10 on my SSD and HDD drives. When I used SATA Port 3 (the one on it's own) this issue was completely resolved. There isn't a whole lot to say about this board aside from mentioning the defect, everything else I've plugged in and use works great, the online resources from Gigabyte were good, they provide up to date drivers and firmware, memory and CPU support lists so you can make sure all the parts are compatible before purchase. Made the rest of the overall experience fairly painless.Edit:- Minus one more star as I discovered that 3 of 4 SATA ports (instead of 1 of 4) are actually defective on my board. This board is causing me more headaches trying to find a way to get 2 drives working as even an addon RAID card has failed somehow. If you get a non-defective board it's probably fine but if you notice anything wrong make sure you send back ASAP.
