I’ve used Patak’s Original Korma Paste a few times now and it’s a reliable favourite for a quick, comforting curry at home. The flavour is mild but still aromatic, with a lovely balance of coconut, creaminess and gentle spice. It’s not overpowering or too hot, which makes it ideal for family meals or anyone who prefers a softer curry. You can easily adjust the richness by adding more coconut milk or cream depending on how indulgent you want it. The paste itself is smooth and easy to cook with. I fry it off first to release the flavours before adding chicken and coconut milk, and it creates a really creamy, well-rounded sauce without needing loads of extra ingredients. It saves time compared to blending spices from scratch, but still tastes much more authentic than a ready-made jar sauce. Perfect for a midweek dinner when you want something comforting without too much effort. I’d definitely keep this as a cupboard staple

I rub chicken with this, and roast it right on the rack in the oven. then I toss potatoes, cauliflower, olive oil, a little salt, and just a touch of this on a roasting pan beneath the chicken to catch all the juices, and it's SUBLIME. If you need a little spice add some sliced chili to the potatoes, and it comes out amazing.

Reliable curry sauce that you can count on for a quick curry night. I always have some in my store cupboard. It is a mild sauce so will cover all my family members which like it mild. The ones that like it hot can add chillies or some hot paste to spice it up more.

I bought this for me and my Mum to make together and it makes a great curry!
