Call it Irish intuition, but I’m a skeptic through and through. I recently got the OKMO 12v 15Ah lithium battery and immediately put the multimeter on it—it was already charged. I plugged it in, and it reached full charge in no time. After making a waterproof box for the battery, I've used it a few times, and I’m impressed!Yesterday, I ran a 7” Fishfinder at full brightness, an LED Lightpole (aka lightsaber 😂), and two GoPro cameras for 7 hours straight. The OKMO LiFePO4 battery handled it all without any issue or significant voltage drop. I left everything plugged in overnight with all the accessories turned off or unplugged, and it still showed 13.2 volts the next morning. Amazing!Compared to other brands, OKMO offers great pricing for this kind of performance. My choice of the OKMO 12V 15Ah LiFePO4 battery has proved quite advantageous for my kayak setup. It powers my fish finder for roughly 5-6 hours of fishing time, which is rather sufficient. The battery is much lighter than my old lead-acid one, which makes movement on the kayak much easier. It charges rather fast: around 2-3 hours is normally sufficient. The low temperatures protection, I think, should come in handy seeing as I sometimes fish in cooler weather. So far, it has proven reliable and gives a decent charge between trips. It is pretty small and fits thus well in the limited kayak space. While admittedly more expensive than lead-acid options, the performance and shorter weight fully justify the expense to my applications.

I've used brands like Litime, Dakota, and Zpro in the past, but they tend to be more expensive. I was surprised to get my shipment a day earlier than expected, just in time for a weekend fishing trip. There were some features that impressed me with this 12V lithium battery, one being that it only took 2.5 hours to fully charge, and the other how compact it was. My Lowrance Hook7 fish finder, which draws around 6-7W, runs perfectly on this battery, allowing me to fish for about 5 days with around 5 hours of fishing time each day. It also provides excellent power for my squid lights. The size and weight are almost double that of the 5Ah lead-acid battery I was previously using, but now I have 3x the capacity without sacrificing too much room on my kayak. My first test run powering my Hook7 fish finder for 5 hours went perfectly with no issues at all, where my old battery would normally have been tapping out. I highly recommend this quality 12V LiFePO4 battery at a competitive price. I really like OKMO and am planning to buy their 100Ah battery next!
