Best Ever Wireless Light for Off Camera Flash!!👍
The Godox AD200 Pro II is like the Swiss Army knife of flashes—it’s small, mighty, and ready to handle pretty much anything you throw at it, except maybe your coffee. This little powerhouse delivers a whopping 200Ws of light, packed into a body about the size of a beefy candy bar. It’s the perfect partner for photographers who want studio-level lighting without hauling around a piece of equipment that doubles as a gym workout.Let’s talk about its superpower: versatility. The AD200 Pro II comes with not one but two interchangeable heads, because why settle for one lighting style when you can have two? Want soft, angelic vibes? Slap on the bare bulb head for glorious omnidirectional light. Need something sharper and more intense? The fresnel head’s got your back. It’s like the Batman and Robin of light modifiers, only without the capes. But wait, there’s more! This thing is a speed demon with recycling times faster than a cheetah on an espresso binge—0.01 to 2.1 seconds, to be exact. It also supports high-speed sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s, which is nerd talk for “You can shoot in the midday sun and still freeze a running toddler mid-tantrum.” And the color stability mode ensures your photos don’t look like they were lit by a disco ball, holding steady at 5600K across all power levels. Now, let’s talk wireless magic. The Godox 2.4G X system is like having a lighting assistant you don’t have to feed. The AD200 Pro II plays nicely with all sorts of Godox gear, so you can boss it around as a master or slave unit. Want to use TTL and let your camera figure out the exposure while you sip your coffee? No problem—it’s compatible with all the big camera brands.Build-wise, this thing is tougher than a toddler on a sugar rush. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and built to survive the occasional “oops” moment. Plus, the LCD screen is big and bright, so you’re not squinting at tiny numbers like it’s a bad optometrist exam.Of course, no piece of gear is perfect. The AD200 Pro II skips the modeling light, which might leave you fumbling in the dark like a bat without sonar. And while the basic kit gets the job done, you’ll probably want to invest in some extra modifiers to really make your photos pop. Think of it like buying toppings for your pizza—it’s technically good plain, but a softbox is the pepperoni that takes it to the next level. In short, the Godox AD200 Pro II is the plucky sidekick every photographer dreams of. It’s small, clever, and packs a punch that’ll make your lighting setups shine. Whether you’re shooting weddings, portraits, or a cat that refuses to sit still, this flash is ready to light up your life—literally.

Flash battery not charging
The media could not be loaded. So this is a bit of an odd review, but I think it's necessary in case anyone encounters the same issue that I did. My battery hasn't been able to charge since I got the flash, which practically renders it unusable. I've tried charging it at different power outlets, turning the cable around, nothing. The chargers lights come on and run as if it's sending a charge, but no power is being saved. Mine had 2 bars, then it and down to 1, but the flash is showing just above half and it's staying there. What also makes my situation unique is that I live in South America, so it isn't financially feasible to pay to have the product shipped back to the US, then pay to have the replacement shipped back to me, pay customs duty, etc. It would cost me figure it out.

Power and Flexibility in a small package
I love these little guys. I have been a photographer for more than 45 years and I no longer have sync cables, extension cords and power packs decorating the floor of my studio. The Pro Mark II is awesome. The WB29A has plenty of of power and will last through most shoots on a daily basis but now I can attach a BP960 Lithium Battery pack and not worry about ever running out of juice. Light, powerful, with a bevy of attachments and accessories. The lighted group indicator on the unit and the ability to dial power all the way down to 1/512th in 1/10 increments makes this a tool that will not soon be replaced. I could go on for days talking about the advantages of these monolights but, the best way to experience them it to purchase one and put it to the test. You will not be dissatisfied with the results and will be looking for ways to purchase additional units. Did I mention that I have six (6) of these guys.Highly recommended.

Very very powerful!
Very bright, loaded with features. Although the battery type is not the same v1 pro batter type, this unit has a very large capacity. The flash is extremely powerful and produces lots of heat on exposed skin compared to other flashes. That's how powerful it is!

Flash is great.
As a pro for over 30 years ive used many top lines. Profoto, Bron, etc… Now if my color had to be accurate every single shot id stick w profoto but since my output is not that high anymore i dont need that kind of cost. I grabbed an ad200 when it first came out for some minor work and i havent switched. I had a battery issue w this pro 2 but customer service was great and theyre sending me a new one.
