Unbelievable quality all around, no sacrifices
I bought this on sale for $160. I am absolutely blown away by the quality of this headset after a few days of use. For one, the audio is a huge upgrade from my last headset. The sounds and locational audio are so much more precise than I could have expected. The music quality is also just as outstanding which surprised me for sure. There is no noticeable delay in audio and connectivity. The dual connection feature is surprisingly awesome, I can watch videos and listen to music much easier while I’m playing my game. Also the aesthetic is awesome. I got myself a white headset and the look is just perfect, especially with the RGB around the edges. This headset is very very comfortable and both ear pads feel great to use. The battery is quite nice, however with the LEDs on at all it tanks the duration of the charge, although even with LEDs and both forms of connection, it still lasted my entire night long gaming session, and it charges very fast too. The app they use to control it, ARMOURY Crate, is not nearly as hard to work with as other people say it is, unless I just got lucky. So far no complaints whatsoever. The price of $250 already seems to be great for the quality you get, but for $160 it’s an absolute steal and a very worthy upgrade if you’re looking for one.

Clear and Comfortable
Great headset overall. The sound is clear and immersive, the tri-mode connectivity is super convenient, and the battery life lasts a long time. It’s comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the detachable mic works well for voice chat. Very satisfied with the quality and performance.

Great headset 9/10 for me.
Wonderful overall headset sound is crisp and clear with plenty of customization in the ROG app. Mic is good and clear with some decent customizations as well. Comfort is great headset is light fits good and battery life is awesome compared to others I've used. Overall I'd give it a 9/10. Only reason for the 9 is you need the ROG app to fully take advantage of this headset and for some that could be an issue.

Almost the best, but with a huge flaw.
This is a very high-quality headset. It's pleasant to hold in your hands, as the quality of the plastic and assembly is top-notch. They fit perfectly on the head, and your ears don't get tired even after prolonged use. The control buttons are cleverly designed – one set for 2.4GHz and wired connections on one earcup, and the same set for Bluetooth connections on the other. The buttons are easy to find by touch, they press nicely and respond clearly. The volume wheel moves easily enough not to cause discomfort, but tightly enough so that accidental contact (for example, when taking the headphones off or putting them on) doesn't accidentally change the volume. It has a detachable microphone and the ability to charge and use them at the same time. It has very nice backlighting and an incredibly huge battery life. But there's a problem – the sound quality. It's poor. Music sounds flat, explosions and shots in games don't sound impactful, and everything sounds muffled in movies. And this can't be fixed with an equalizer. Even the old G733s sound much better. In other words, these expensive, modern, very well-made headphones lack the most important quality – good sound. If it weren't for this, they would be the best wireless headset, no joke.

Great value and quality for the $200-range
For a closed-back in the $200 range, this headset is stellar. Comfortable, especially the jersey ear pads, don’t get hot. Sound has clarity. Sound-stage and imaging is great. Bass is not too boomy, nor is it too heavy. No EQ, it is great. With EQ, it is even better. Bass can be increased and when it is there is no distortion. Listening to music is great. Volume is plenty loud (not quite like a lot of these headsets). Sound is not tinny, nor does it sound hollow, like you’re in a shoebox. Mic quality is also really good. I returned the Fractal Scape, got the Delta 2 instead, and I am glad that I did. I also really like that the left side control the 2.4 connection and the right side controls the Bluetooth connection.

Asus ROG Delta II, it's microphone not recommended.
This review is for the ASUS ROG Delta II. I tested these headphones against Corsair's Virtuoso MAX, in which I wrote about the latter in an Amazon review appropriated to the correct store page. The ASUS ROG Delta II in testing has great audio at a Stereo level. The 7.1 Surround Sound is not very good compared to my old Razer Kraken 7.1 Surround Sound headphones. With the equalization set to default, the audio is very clear with just the right amount of treble & bass. The treble is loud enough & clear enough to hear where needed, & the bass hits hard but soft enough that it remains very comfortable to listen to. These headphones are also really good when using between all three connections available, which are 2.4Ghz, Bluetooth, & 3.5mm. I noticed no difference using 2.4Ghz & 3.5mm to my surprise, as I expected 3.5mm to have a better outcome. Nonetheless, the outcome is more than sufficient. Using 2.4Ghz while connected to a cellular mobile phone proves fantastic, & transitioning between calls was easy & well done, just remember however to ensure the microphone is connected when picking up the call as it is needed to inherently reply to the caller. The microphone is a different story from the wonderful audio. Having tested the microphone between several different VoIP applications & recorded feedback, it ultimately comes out as sounding muddy, & not quite high in volume. The volume from all modifiable options was set to maximum, & other users listening to the microphone still felt the need to turn up their own volume to the maximum or pause what they are doing in order to hear what the ASUS ROG Delta II microphone had to say. Ultimately, the microphone falls short with these headphones. With conclusion in mind, if you wish to purchase these headphones, you would like to know that the ASUS ROG Delta II has fantastic 50mm driver audio & definitely sounds wonderful, while having a long enough battery life with LEDs turned off & the amazing compatibility between many devices, but a note that the microphone will likely in-fact let you down as the microphone itself sounds subpar. If you intend to buy these for microphone usage, personally would not recommend until about half the full price. There are better options out there in terms of microphone, & those options are usually not gaming headphones. But for the audio & compatibility, these headphones are definitely worth it for those gaming & music experiences; you would be encouraged if using the microphone is unlikely! The verdict is, fantastic audio, slightly below subpar microphone, great versatility between devices . To be purchased for the audio & device compatibility, but not for the microphone. Edit 6/19/2025: I also checked out the Audeze Maxwell; you would be surprised to learn that the Asus ROG Delta II is superior in every way besides durability.

Great for what you get.
I have never written an Amazon review before but this headsets score is way to low. It is an excellent headset that I would highly recommend except for 2 specific reasons that’s someone might not like it. 1. The headset is quite large so if you have a small head definitely stay away. I have a medium to a large head and it’s still fairly loose on me even on its tightest setting. Secondly the headset is not great at keeping our external audio so if you are in a loud environment or you want serious noise cancelling this isn’t the headset for you. Besides those 2 points this thing is excellent the audio is great, the software is great (besides the sleep function not working currently hoping it gets patched soon), the comfort is top notch, and the microphone is crystal clear. Coming from a Razor Kraken v3 pro this thing is a huge step up and it’s a joy to use. The battery life is also insane I have had it for over 2 weeks and haven't charged it once it’s still at 50% and that’s using it all day. Definitely worth the purchase.

Great if you've got a big head!
Excellent headset for those of us with larger heads, I've had many break in short order and thought I'd be stuck with HyperX Cloud headsets forever, but this is comfortable and feels like it isn't strained by my head. I've got tinnitus so I'm not the best judge of sound quality but it does sound good to me.
