I had trigger finger surgery about two months ago. About a month ago I developed pain at the incision site. The surgeon told me that scar tissue is developing which is the cause of the pain. I have been using the Mitgary Advanced Silicone Scar Gel every day. I have noticed that the the pain at the incision site has been reduced and the scar is flattening. I like it so much that I purchased another bottle of Mitgary Advanced Silicone Scar Gel for my daughter who just had shoulder surgery.

Out the gate I wanna be honest, I am giving this product 5 stars because there is a gift card involved.. I rely on reviews and I dont want to be one of those people who lie for the money. So with that being said I personally would have given 3 and half stars, but let me explain.. I have skin that if you put too much pressure on it I scar. lol I still have every scar from when I was a kid, they are all still visible. My skin just does not heal properly I guess..I recently burned myself on my darn cookie sheet because my dog ran in the kitchen and I twisted just right. Horrible burn mark on my arm that is so visible and nasty looking. So I thought I would give this product a shot to at least maybe help with the texture. I can say Its been 2 months now of pretty consistent use twice a day and the results are actually better than I thought they would be. My skin really looks smooth and I cant even see any raised skin or dimpling on the scar. Its as smooth as the surrounding skin and thats impressive in itself. My skin when scarred usually will be raised or dimpled in, so im super happy about that. Now the only reason I would give it 3 1/2 stars is because there is absolutely no change in the color of the scar. Its still very dark and noticeable, but I think over time it will start to fade a little more. I think for probably most people this product would work, I believe there could be a big difference seen. I have been happy with the texture 100%, but i think my skin is just really stubborn and nothing would work to fade it away.. So I defiently am happy I purchased this product and I will actually buy again for future scars, I am really happy about the change in the texture of my scar. I think I will just have to maybe look into different things to lighten the scar, but other than that im satisfied with the results.
