Interesting and Useful Book!
This book is a rather quick read. It is written by the infamous Nikola Tesla. He was obviously a genius, but it also struck me that he was also a rather humble man as well. It seemed to me that someone like Nikola Tesla would be the ideal older brother because he was kind AND brilliant at the same time.I recommend this book to everyone who is either an engineer or is married to an engineer. It somewhat gives you a peak into the soul of a brilliant genius. I'm very glad I read this book and will no doubt read it again from time to time. (By the way, I am a female engineer and I worked with many male engineers over the years.) In general, engineers are a misunderstood group of people who have far more compassion and empathy than people realize. If you live with or are related to an engineer, I suggest that you read this book.

Nikola Tesla, a remarkable and audacious inventor and visionary of his era.
My Inventions, serves as Tesla's autobiography, encompassing reflections on his significant breakthroughs and revolutionary creations. Among them, Tesla's most remarkable invention, AC, empowers a wide range of modern marvels, spanning from household heating systems to computers and advanced robotics.

Interesting but not very informative
I read a number of articles on Nikola Tesla and bought this book to find out a little more.We get a glimpse of his earlier years and his many trials as well as his eccentricities. We do not however get much information on his many inventions. Some are mentioned but no real detail is given. On the whole I found the book unsatisfying. It does give some insight into Tesla the man and is worth reading only if you have an interest in him. I would not recommend it to the casual reader.

Something is wrong..
The book is GREAT.HOWEVER... there is something really weird going on here.I got the Watchmaker paperback version of the book. I am also listening to the Waxkeep edition of the book as an audiobook. And there are some disturbing differences in the two editions. So far I’ve noticed a date, some parenthetical statements, and a lot of numbers. The strangest thing is the difference in the inclusion of god and the Bible. The Watchmaker paperback seems to be the less accurate as it gets something as easily checkable as Tesla’s magnifying transmitter wrong, written magnifying transformer in the book, while the Waxkeep gets this right. This is particularly apparent when Tesla comes to a revelation seeing the interaction between lightning and rain on a mountain. In that moment he comes up with his spectacular dreams of harnessing this power. In the Watchmaker paper back, this revelation is prefaced with a paragraph about bible studies. And similar revelations are prefaces with bible studies. There is zero mention, so far, of the Bible or god in the Waxkeep edition.I’m not a religious person, but I am reading this book because I am curious about Tesla and his OWN ideas in his OWN words. I don’t know if someone is omitting words or putting words in his mouth, the latter seeming more likely due to the evidence, but it is disgusting and absolutely immoral.

My Inventions: The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla
Wow! To read this true autobiography and to almost share the mind of a genius versus a mad scientist. I have read several books and references on Nikola Tesla. If you have a real interest in this master mind then I suggest this is a most read book, and I think if I had it to do over again I would have wished this was my first book I read. I t would have made understanding him a lot more easier. This book then the old movie on Netflix ties in a lot about him. It also share insight to the greed of Westinghouse and JP Morgan. This man was a saint in so many way. His true desire was to help mankind and seek a peaceful world. But then again his perception of himself was a amazing part of his journey. This book is an easy read, however it requires attention to detail, because he has a tendency to go back in forth. Its not a chronological bio which again makes it a bit hard to follow at times. I suggest this as a sit down on a rainy day and a hot couple cups of coffee and read in one sitting. I am not a literary expert. But I highly recommend the movie of Tesla available on Netflix after you read this book. It is an enLIGHTENING experience .
