Simple and easy to use - plugs into my MacBook and as soon as you press the in/out button a light comes on and the tray opens. Exactly what I needed to check some old CDS and copy files over to my computer. Good value, quick not use, and a very compact item. Note the first one I ordered did not work, but the second worked first time. Speedy delivery for both and a straightforward refund on the non-working item.

Bought to rip my cd collection. Ripped correctly one time via musicbee and then refused to work correctly at all.On top of that my pc couldn't restart or shut off until I had disconnected the drive fully.Also it's advertised as 24x speed but only managed to reach 15x max while ripping a standard cd.

Supplied within the time framework. It's sturdy and works instantly when plugged in. Well, almost: there could be some better warning about DVD usage on Windows 11 where some DVDs - in my case relating to a software disk - are not supported. This issue is resolvable but make sure you know how to tinker with Windows 11 OS first. I think the issue is probably connected with licensing - Microsoft is particularly heavy handed over such things!

Perfect for the task - ripping a CD into my MacBook - nice textured case, all works as you would hope. Excellent price.
