Get This Cable!
I was using an older link cable from my Quest 2 on my Quest 3 and was having a bunch of issues until I got this one. It works perfectly every time. It keeps my headset charged while I play and provides a seamless connection to my PC. If you're looking for a link cable, this one is a great buy.

Does a decent job with Meta Quest 3
TL;DR: Does the job for what it’s intended, and it is much more reasonably priced than the “official” cable from Meta. The PD works well with the power supply that came with the headset, which is nice for longer sessions. A bit more detail: I ordered this at the same time that I ordered a Quest 3, since I wasn’t sure about how I was going to use the headset for PCVR. I have an aging PCIe4.0 Gigabyte Mobo, in a case with USB-A 3.2 ports. This cable worked perfectly using the headset with Meta Quest Link. That said, my main PCVR workflows are with SteamVR. Through trial and testing, I found that the best experience with SteamVR is to use the SteamVR Link app on the headset. It connects to my PC via WIFI and works very well. There is no need to be tethered to the PC and it offers a bit more freedom while playing. Summary: If you need a USB-A to USB-C cable for your VR setup, this cable is a decent solution. The PD option to keep devices like the Quest 3 charged while playing is a huge plus for longer gaming sessions. That said: if you’re a Quest 3 user and you have a good home network topology and WIFI setup, you might just want to use the Meta Air Link, or Steam VR Link offering instead. Cutting the tether to the PC is really nice, and there are other battery pack options to keep your headset charged while playing. Even though I found I don’t use this cable when using my headset with PCVR, I’m glad I have it just in case I ever find I might need to go back to tethering.

Perfect, but heads up before you buy this.
Solid cable! Not too heavy when moving around, and long enough to accommodate for most activities. Latency is low- it's comparably fast to the $80 Quest Link cable. Overall, it works like it should, which is all you really need from a cable like this. Do note, however: if the charging cable is plugged into the cable's battery pack while it's being used, you'll infrequently be interrupted by a "debris/liquid in the charging port" error. According to the Quest forums, the battery pack sometimes causes the headset to think there's a short circuit, and there's no way to disable the warning in the settings. Fortunately, the fix is easy. Just unplug the charging cable from the battery pack, and you won't be interrupted by the error. Not the most convenient thing in the world, but hey, no fault to the cable itself.

Quality.
Cable length is great and is resistant to dogs trying to chew on it. Adding the additional charger is a bit finicky, although it could just be my Quest 3 refusing to charge properly with it.

Endless play
I use this as a power cable for my Quest 3s. It keeps it fully charged for hours of play and gives space to move around. Make sure to plug a USB C into the connector to get adequate power.

just don't buy a Meta Quest headset
Not enough charging power to keep headset up during normal use. Had to by a different charger altogether to confirm it wasn't the headset. Also it only sees it as a charging cable and not a link cable.

Works great!
The Cord works well and I dont need buy an external battery or need to charge my headset ever again. I still get the liquid or debris in the type-c port warning but thats becuase of META's buggy software and not the fault of the cord. Its pretty durable.

The headset charges while you play wired quest link
I was a little worried because people in the reviews said their headset wasn’t charging while playing sessions but as soon as I got it I hooked it up I used one of my best chargers I have to connect it to the cable. That day I just got my new quest 3 so the battery was very low like 20%. I used the cable and the cable and the charging worked perfectly I was playing hard bullet on steam vr via quest link and the connection was beautiful. It went from 20% to 43% within 30 minutes of playing now that’s a big win at least it’s not draining while playing so you can literally play forever. Also the cable has a smart chip to slow charge the headset when it’s past 65% so if your headset is 100% and you plug it up be aware that it will drain to 65% but that’s a good thing the battery isn’t stressed when at lower percentages so you have longevity. I’m impressed with the price, it’s a very good deal. So far it’s durable, I’ve been using another syntech cord for my quest 3s but the battery kept dying so I would definitely get this if you play for long sessions like I do sometimes.

I've been using it for 4 days and everything is perfect. It worked right away, it hold the charge really well, I didn't have to charge it once so far and I played a good amount of times. Without the cable I probably would have had to charge it at least 10-15 times already but after 4 days I'm still over 60% and most of the uncharged % is due to me playing unplugged a bit. I have a 5800x3d with a 2060super, I get easily 120fps at 120hz. I'm using usb port 3.1, I ran two cable test, I got 2.0 and 2.1 gbps. No complain so far everything is perfect.

Merci Syntech

One problem when it comes to connecting Quest 3 to a PC is that most PCs lack a USB-C port with power delivery. One typically ends up connecting to a USB-A port on the PC. While this sort of connectivity provides sufficient bandwidth for the video, it does not provide enough prover to keep the Quest 3 charged. This cable solves that problem. It is a standard-looking USB-A to USB-C cable, however, it has a small box, allowing you to connect a USB-C power cable to charge the headset. The connector is conveniently placed closer to the PC end, so you stay connected using a single cable and have the added benefit of the headset getting constantly charged. Similar to the original Link cable, this one uses a right-angle USB-C connector on the headset end making it easier to tie the cable to the headset if this is preferred. There is a velcro band provided if this is the intended use. If I have to find a fault, I'd say this cable is shorter than the original Link cable, 5m vs 3m, somewhat limiting the area one can move. However, given the overall quality of the cable I don't think it is a big enough issue to take away a star from the review. On my tests, I was sitting next to the computer and had no issues. Overall, I can recommend this cable unless you have a specific requirement for a full 5-meter length.
