Nice for gift or decadent snack
The jamon was packaged well and of good quality. Very fresh and reminded me of my visit to Spain. Certainly a nice alternative to buying a full leg to carve ... So, a nice gift ... or a special "occasion" snack. If you're planning to entertain with a larger group of people, or will "hit" this on the regular, investing in a "carve-able" piece would probably be ideal (not to mention the awesomeness of carving it!)--since this package could probably be stretched out to a few people at most ... before a riot sets in by those wanting more. Needless to say, it's nice to be able to purchase "Iberico de Bellota," essentially, on demand without having to cross the pond to get it.

Uneatible Hamon!
DO NOT BUY THIS. The meat inside was slimy and gooey. You could not pull it apart to serve so it broke up into tiny pieces. It also tasted terrible. i requested a refund and Amazon fulfilled the request.

Iberico ham is the best in the world
This works out to be about $200 a pound, so it is a treat we get about every 2 months. Iberico ham that is acorn-fed is one of the treats in life worth having. If you have a chance go to Spain and get it in a shop as its carved off of the ham leg. One shop in Barcelona put it on bread and it was my morning breakfast everyday.

Expensive - Tasty Treat.
Was very tasty, not as thin as I like it but it lasted less than 5 minutes when I put it out for family. Best served at room temp! It’s a meat so its appearance out of the package was not a concern, looked like Iberico ham to me! 4 Stars because nothing like unpackaged and off the leg.

Good, but Not as Exceptional as Expected
I was excited to try the Iberico de Bellota Ham, expecting it to stand out because of its reputation and price. While it was good, it didn’t quite meet my expectations.Taste and TextureThe ham had a slightly sweet undertone, which I wasn’t expecting. I usually enjoy cured ham, but I thought the flavor would be more intense or complex, considering it’s Iberico. For me, it didn’t justify the premium price tag.Quantity vs. ValueThe portion size was smaller than I anticipated, especially given the cost. While the packaging was well-done and kept the product fresh, the overall value felt lacking.Final ThoughtsIf you’re looking for a high-quality ham and enjoy a slightly sweeter flavor profile, this could be a good option. However, if you’re used to other cured hams, you might find this one underwhelming for the price. Personally, I wouldn’t repurchase.

Too greasy , couldn’t separate the slices. Look elsewhere
Yeah sad to say the reviews are right, so greasy it was impossible to seperarte the slices like put a piece of paper between the slices like they do with prosciutto . Inedible mess. Save your money really disappointed.
