Buy it don't worry its perfect 👌
Need to shoot some high quality shorts but also needed high quality audio from actual video site. So after long search got this recorder with two m5 for stereo shots. It is amazing. Highly recommend. I added power bank to my rig just cause I was recording almost all day and never turn the recorder off .

All I can say is this is worth every penny! It quickly became my favorite 32bit float field recorder. Again worth every penny. Bravo Tascam!

Insane quality in such a small form factor!
Wow wow WOW!! I upgraded from my TASCAM DR-60Dmk2 and what a huge difference. Such a smaller form factor, 32-bit float, USB-C connectivity, and the capability of Bluetooth monitoring over wireless headphones and using the TASCAM app, this recorder is a knockout! Pairing it with 3 Eneloop Pro AAs (2500mAh), I was able to record 32-bit 48kHz audio for 7 hours and 2 minutes with 24V of Phantom power on both XLRs with Audio Technica boundary mics which is astonishing!!! I used to have to use an external battery pack to power my DR-60Dmk2 because the 4 Duracell AAs wouldn’t last a 1.5 hour show. With regular Eneloops (1900mAh) from 2013 (2nd gen), I still get 5 hours and 2 minutes which is very impressive for 12 year old batteries that I rarely used!

No 44.1khz
Pros It does have combo xlr unlike the f3 Cons It does not have 44.1khz only 48 96 and 192 It would help if they add the 44.1 so I dont have to convert to 44.1

Defective on arrival possibly used condition
Had to send it back found out it wouldn't work with batteries as it's supposed to. The one they sent me only would work if it was plugged into USB. Fresh batteries did not help. Thinking possibly this was a used item sold as new
