Does the job - just
I have found out that weeds are more resilient to burning than I first thought. The hot flame does the trick but you do need to hold it on the weed for a few seconds and it does leave a temporary carbon mark on paving afterwards. On the plus side this style of wand (with the gas cylinder hanging down) is well balanced and makes walking around burning weeds easy to manage.

Very efficient, gas lasts quite a while, easy to operate, easy to pin point small weeds. Takes a while to burn off the larger weeds.
