Amazing Product
Let me start by saying to read the manual first before you get the product up and running. This will go a long way. With that being said, once you insert the batteries on this monitor and program the initial settings.... it's smooth sailing from there. I like the fact that it's compact, easy to use and it stores the reading history on my phone with the app. This makes it super easy to track so I have something to show my doctor on my visits. I tested this monitor while in the doctor office and it was pretty accurate compared to their machine. So I'm happy to know that when I use my monitor I'm getting accurate readings. There is a downside but not much of a big deal for me. It's battery operated which means replacement batteries. I didn't mind getting rechargeable batteries for it so when I have to change them, I swap them out for fresh ones and recharge the old ones so they be ready to be swapped out again.

Easy and accurate
We had been using an Omron blood pressure monitor, but it was getting a bit older and were questioning its accuracy. This beurer BM 81 is easy enough to set up with the date and time and connect to a phone using bluetooth. It seems fairly accurate based on comparisons with the Omron unit and units available at pharmacies. The cuff will work well on both fairly large arms as well as pretty small arms. I was ready to say that I would like to be able to export the data from the app so I can pull it into Excel to make charts the way I like to see them... And there it is - export as CSV or PDF. Awesome. I highly recommend this make and model - beurer BM 81.

BT integration confusing
Build quality and measurements easy. Great except for initial bluetooth set up. The amazon order and the device lists the model no as BM81 and this is what i chose for the device for set up. Failed several times, but the paper user manual with the device lists ELITE 950 as the model. When I chose ELITE 950 instead of BM81, it finally worked. A little messed up I think!

Beuer BP Monitor
Bought it approximately a month ago. I have used it 20 times. It is easy to set up and the numbers/readout seemed reliable. However, now it errors out and the numbers can be wildly different between the first reading and the second. Not good when your managing your BP

Didn't realize how much better a BP cuff could be until now
This was the most intuitive and easier to use BP monitor that I have used, It's been a few years now since I was told to keep an eye on my BP by my Cardiologist. Had always used the fast inflating Velcro cuff that was attached to the tube. Every time I used it I was certain that the actual use of it helped to raise my BP. The Velcro cuff was either too loose or too tight. There were times when I had to stop the machine because it was getting frighteningly tight. Anyway, once I did some research and found this BP monitor by Beurer, I knew I had to try it. Yes, I will admit it is about twice the cost of many of the others but keeping your BP in check is definitely worth the extra cost. Took it to my next cardio appt and they checked it against their state of the art BP machines and were amazed that it was almost exactly the same reading as theirs. My old cuff and tube monitor was always 10-15 percent off. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower. So I would wholeheartedly (see what I did there) recommend this monitor to anyone concerned about their overall health. Oh yeah, it is also Bluetooth compatible so you can see all your readings stored on your phone. I don't really use this feature but it does come in handy when you go to the docs and they want to see your readings. Give this monitor a try. You will not regret it.

easy to use
easy to use, especially since I had a stroke and lost the use of 1 arm. easy to read as well. It seems to be very accurate. I used it alongside the doctors and was only off a couple of points

Easy twist lock
This is a fantastic high quality blood pressure cuff! The best I have ever owned. The twist lock feature is an example of smart engineering. Easy for older folks to utilize in taking their own blood pressure readings. Buy this! You can’t go wrong.

Easy to use, but bluetooth syncing can be problematic, expecially after you replace the batteries
This is easy to use, but bluetooth syncing with the phone app is quite slow and it doesn't always work. After I needed to replace the batteries, I had to do a fair amount of troubleshooting to get the device up and running again (I had to track down the manual - ugh!) and syncing didn't work at all. I figured this would likely be an issue EVERY time I had to replace the batteries, so I didn't bother trying to make bluetooth syncing work again. There is alternative way to get data into the phone app by pointing the phone camera at the BP device screen, so I just do that now. It's much faster than bluetooth syncing. I have no idea how accurate the device is because I haven't tested it against a medical-grade unit.
