The door handle on my 8 year old car began to get tacky and disintegrate. This shell fit right over it and snapped into place. The perfect solution, much less expensive than a new BMW door handle. I live in Florida so the cars do get very hot and the leather breaks down.

Wow, I'm impressed and very happy for such an inexpensive solution to the pesky BMW "butter handle". I was a bit skeptical whether it would work and assumed it would just look like a cheap piece of plastic. It works great and the look is seamless. No more stickiness on front passengers' hands when opening or shutting the door. Install took less than a minute. At first, it looked like it was the wrong shape but after a few seconds of playing with it, it snapped in easily and perfectly.
