We've been needing some new steak knives for a long time. It's amazing what you get used to and don't really know, until you end up with something that actually works. These knives are quite substantial. They have a nice grip and I actually appreciate the rubber inlay on the handle just to make sure to keep your thumb from slipping. I'll update if those don't hold up.I have been putting these on the top rack of the dishwasher although I believe the recommendation is handwashing.These knives are sharp. Believe that. I will say that I like non-serrated knives because I do my own sharpening, but these are fine. The one thing I will say is that the blade isn't as slim as our previous steak knives and they won't fit into our knife block, but I can't necessarily take anything away from them because of that.These things feel great in the hand and so far they've been cutting through pretty much everything we've been serving. Not much else to say, but they have now replaced my well loved knives that needed to be replaced.

These knives are serrated and are super sharp. Be careful where you keep them so that no one reaches their hand into a drawer and accidently cuts themselves. They cut steak with ease. The listing claims that they never need sharpening and they will probably hold their useful sharpness for a long time but even serrated knives eventually get dull and you will then have a decision to make about whether to sharpen them or just get new ones. These knives feel solid and fit nicely in the hand. The bolster (the part of the handle where the blade meets it) has little grooves meant to look like a shark's gills (thus, "Shark Series") but these are not just for decoration. As shown in the very detailed info booklet that comes with the knives, for maximum control of the knife it is recommended that you hold it by the bolster and these grooves will help you to get a non-slip grip. These are beautiful knives and I highly recommend them.

Love these knives! They are beefy, strong and incredibly sharp. No rusting or pitting even with dishwasher cleaning.

These Brodark Serrated Steak Knives are extremely sharp! They arrived packed in a nice cardboard storage box with a magnetic closure and I would suggest storing these in that box for safety reasons unless you have a knife holder. The knives feel properly weighted for cutting and are comfortable to use, and the handles are ergonomically shaped to fit your grip. Because the handles are hollow and made from molded metal, these should not go in the dishwasher as the high heat and subsequent cooling can cause expansion /contraction and ruin the knives. You'll definitely want to hand wash these. I really like how they cut and they go through steak and lamb easily, requiring much less effort than any other steak knives I've owned.

The wife has been looking for decent steak knives for some time so when these came up she went for it. I was not expecting much, but when they came in, I was pleasantly surprised. These do not feel like cheap knives nor do they look it. The handle is thick and substantial but because it is hollow it is not overly heavy. The weight is enough to know it was not made as cheaply as possible as some I have seen.The knives are very sharp. After washing them we tested them on our meal. Roast pork and roast veggies. We cut our pork thick and cook it well done (as you should) so sometimes it comes out a little tougher. The knife had no problems at all cutting anything on the plate. Everyone was pleased with both the look and the function.There were no visible deformities, no scratches. These are just a well made product. At $10 a knife they are not high end but certainly not low either. Its a very good price for the material and the work that went into them.

We were in the market for a set of steak knives to use for our new outdoor grill. We ordered these and I have to say, I was impressed. The handles are built in. The serrated edges are sharp. These knives just feel really nice in the hand. they came packaged in a really nice box which showcased the knives perfectly. The knives are made from stainless steel and have a slight industrial look to them making almost a perfect match to out existing flatware. I have used them a few times and I love them. I can recommend these knives wholeheartedly!

This is an excellent set of steak knives. The knives are very sharp and cut through all kinds of foods without any problems. They are also very nice-looking and weighted to be comfortable in your hand.
