Good experience with first try at oil paints.
It's a nice, bright copper oxide color. Brighter than Nihilakah Oxide from citadel which is acrylic. The ability to manipulate this 502 paint is a good quality to have. It comes out of the tube quite thick so if you're painting miniatures you definitely need to thin it, unless you know what you're doing. Would definitely get it again! I liked putting a dab of paint where I wanted it and then using thinner to streak it and make it do what I want. Haven't tried it as a wash yet but I heard it leaves a nice, chalky finish like you want with oxidized brass or copper. Also cleans off really well too with thinner.

Magic in a tube
These oil paints are incredible, they work fantastically and are like magic in a tube for miniatures. I thin them with white spirits and there are some incredible effects with these paints.

Best oil paint for model detailing.
Paint is always consistent and mixed well. No excessive oils like cheaper brands. Pigments are spot on for weathering model aircraft.
