Great for practice and playing others

This chess set is easy to use, but the difficulty of the lowest level is high for me and a little frustrating. I have improved after a few days. Just don’t expect to beat the computer.

Great for beginner or expert!

I would have given 5 stars, but it doesn't give extra queens for pawn promotions. I am a beginner and it is still difficult to beat the computer on the easiest settings. I really have no complaints other than that.

Good but It said illegal move when it was leagle

Ok, so I got this for my son. We are both learning chess. We have the basic moves down and basic strategy. We hopes this machine could help us sharpen our skills but that isn't the case. Even in the easiest difficulty it was nearly impossible to beat the computer even with tutoring mode on. I might add too that this machine doesn't really "teach" anything except how the pieces move. I almost considered sending it back. Do waste your time.

The electronic chessboard is not running smoothly, and there will be a catunde phenomenon!
