Fast and small. Looks good plugged into mac mini (same colour). Stays cool all the time I'm playing ganes. Remember to format it to a compatible state for your PC type. Works well and is often on sale, keep an eye out.

Filmed straight onto the hard drive from my iPhone 15 pro mac with no issues at all. Fits perfectly.

One star down for the pricing but I was stuck and needed it in a pinch for a job in Finland.Form factor is good, it seems to be robust, the hub is very compact which is important for the rig build. Can't complain about anything else, it did the job. Still stings thinking about what it cost. 😂

I have been filming today with an iPhone 15 Pro Max, using Apple Pro Res 422LT with Apple Log HDR at 50 fps and recording to this Lexar Professional Go Portable 1TB SSD. After only 30 seconds of filming, I received an overheating / lost frames warning, with recording stopping shortly thereafter. I now realise why other manufacturers have not produced an external SSD with the same small form factor as this and that is due to overheating. I am sure this device will fair better when recording in 4K at 24 / 25fps using H264 or 1080p but this inflexibility makes it unfit for purpose imo. A shame, as it promised much and the various Youtube reviews seem to be universally positive.

Ideal for IPhone 15+ Max and 16, especially when shooting long video files.
