This five star review is really for the amazing customer experience I received. I purchased this pump and was hopeful it was going to be sufficient for my large pool. The pump was high quality and built well. Installation was easy and it operated well. Initially, it did a good job, although my pool guy said he was adding more chemicals to the water than before. As the weather got warmer, we realized that the pump was having trouble keeping the pool clean. Our pool is close to the 40,000 gallons mark that this pump maxs at, so I believe it would have been great if the pool was smaller and there would be no issue. I contacted the manufacturer directly and I got a very immediate response and willingness to problem-solve. Ultimately, it did not seem this pump was the best fit for my pool and they could have simply said I was out of luck, but they actually issued a sizeable partial credit in the interests of good customer service. I am very impressed they stand behind their product, are so responsive to their customer outreaches, and are committed to such excellent customer service. If you have a smaller pool, I would absolutely recommend you purchase this product

I was a little hesitant at first because this salt chlorinator was priced lower than the big-name brands, but I’m so glad I gave it a try! It works just as well—if not better—for my in-ground pool. Installation was straightforward, and it's been running smoothly ever since. The water stays crystal clear, and I’ve noticed a big difference in how soft and clean it feels. This system keeps chlorine levels perfectly balanced without constant babysitting.If you're looking for a reliable, budget-friendly alternative to the expensive models, this is it. Excellent product, excellent price—definitely five stars from me!

This looks like and is the same size of my original device. The plugs are the same and the installation was as simple as removing the old unit and putting this one in place. It did not include the rubber gaskets, so I had to use my existing ones. Also, the unit I received had a piece of main unit that covers the electrical connection to the main unit off of the unit and laying around in the box which I was able to reinstall, so taking a point off for quality control.

EDIT*** Seller reached out to me and offered a refund on the failed t-cell. They were very responsive, and fast to handle everything. I didn't think it'd go very far, but shot my shot. They are a respectable seller. I will continue ordering from them.Ordered 1 in oct 24. Lasted 5 months. that I know of anyways, being winter, and the water being too cold to produce algae, Im not sure when it failed. I swear I remember something about a warranty. Having trouble getting in touch with seller for a claim. If you're a seller, please contact me. I ordered another one and up and going again, but would like to replace the failed one to have a back up when this one fails in 5 months. Before someone says "why keep buying them" This every 5 months is still cheaper than $400/month in chlorine.

It works, but the salt reading is a bit off from the pool store’s reading. The part where the cord plugs into the cell seems a little flimsy and could come apart from being in the sun and rain.

I ordered this salt cell to replace a 4-year-old remanufactured unit. At first glance, the unit looks good and very similar to the original Hayward unit. After removing the old cell, I installed the supplied new O-rings on the pipe flanges. The salt cell came with new screw-on flange nuts, but I reused the old ones due to reusing the existing PVC piping.When installing the new cell, I noticed it was about an 1/8 inch shorter than the old one. Initially, I was concerned about potential leaks, but after tightening the flange nuts and checking for leaks, I found none. I also noticed that the cover where the wire goes into the unit easily snaps off, which is a nice feature. The Hayward unit's wiring was always in the way when tightening the wing nut or placing it in my cleaning stand.My old unit was a T5, and so is this one, so I didn't have to reset the unit settings. So far, the cell is working well. I have more salt in the pool than required and need to adjust it. The reading on the unit is about 300 ppm higher than the actual salt level in the pool, so I may need to calibrate it after removing some water to lower the salt level.Overall, I am happy with the unit. Hopefully, it lasts as long as my last one.

Perfect replacement for Hayward Turbocell. Using this on a 20,000 Gallon salt water pool. Summer is about to begin, so I wanted to get on top of the again cell I was using. This swapped out easily and produced chlorine as expected. No issues and FC levels in the pool are maintaining as they should be. No issues.

Looks-wise, this replacement cell was very hard to tell from the original Hayward unit it was taking the place of in my equipment. The threaded ends play nicely with existing plumbing. Easy to install, it was really a matter of unscrewing the old cell, lubricating the o-rings on the new one, and screwing it into place before rehooking the cable. The chlorine levels remained even in the desired range according to the generation percentage that I had set, and the water has remained clean, so it's doing its job so far.
