Outstanding Visibility, Seamless Integration, and Easy Setup
The Lumos Firefly Mini lights are hands-down one of the best safety upgrades I’ve added to my e-bike. Setup was quick and straightforward, and everything paired easily right out of the box. What really sets these apart is the integration. They sync perfectly with my Lumos helmet and the wireless remote, creating a fully connected lighting system that just works. Turn signals, brake lights, and steady illumination all function together smoothly, which makes riding in traffic feel far more controlled and predictable. Visibility is excellent—even in full daylight, these lights are bright, clear, and impossible to miss. A small caveat to this is if you had direct sunlight on it. The Team Sync feature is another standout, keeping everything perfectly coordinated so there’s no lag or confusion between devices. As someone who rides frequently and relies on visibility for safety, this system delivers exactly what it promises. Thoughtful design, great functionality, and reliable performance make the Firefly Mini lights an easy recommendation. Highly recommend for anyone looking to seriously upgrade their bike lighting and safety setup.

Firefly Mini complete a great Lumos bike lighting echo system
I love my Lumos helmets since the kickstarter days and have seen them grow into a bike lighting eco-system that helps me be seen better on the road. In the video I shared that is Lumos firefly minis on the left and right handle bars, firefly on the bike rack and a Lumos Matrix helmet. I have also used the ultra with this setup. Both work great and help signal to traffics in front and behind me what is going on. As the days are shorter and more overcast, I have seen cars notice when biking on the road. This in extra safety that is better than a hand gesture. Charging is simple. Minis are usbc compatible and charge pretty quickly. They do need to be charged more than the regular fireflies but that is due to size. The magnates are strong. They are not going to wiggle out of their spots. If I had to point out a little weakness it’s the clips for bags. They are good but not great. I think if the clip back was longer it would fit a little better on my panniers but this is a minor gripe. I would always get the upgraded remote for breaking. It does need its sensitivity dialed in and will burn the battery a bit more but it’s worth the signaling you are stopping. (Note: there is a newer remote that is like the old one that is now USBC. So newer purchases I think get the new UBC remote.) One downside could be that remote requires a special charging cable. If you have older Lumos it’s the same at the helmets. There is a newer usbc version of that remote though. Anyone who wants to ride on the road with cars or in darker months, highly recommend the Lumos helmets and lights. The firefly minis are versatile in placement due to size, weights and mounts and make great visibility lights!

Great product.
Great product. I now have highly visible (very bright) turn signals and position lights on my e-bike. Very easy to attach with several options. Also pairs seamlessly with my Lumos Ultra e-Bike Helmet. Certainly adds to my safety when I ride the bike (I average close to 200 miles per month). Very easy to recharge and the charge has’t run out on any of my longer rides.

Essential Safety Upgrade for Any Rider
As a senior e-bike rider, visibility is my top priority—and this system delivers. Today’s roads are full of distracted drivers, and these lights make sure I’m seen. The illumination is impressive, and the way all the lights sync together is fantastic (I've included a short video to show them off). They offer multiple settings, and when one light is turned off, the others follow suit—very convenient. I especially appreciate the left/right directional blinker feature, which removes any guesswork for drivers about where I’m headed. The brake function is smart too: lights stop flashing and stay solid while braking, then resume flashing once I release. Setup requires the Lumos app, which is intuitive though I had to read through it a couple of times. I did experience one glitch where the lights lost communication with the app, and re-pairing all four was a bit of a hassle—but once fixed, they’ve worked reliably. Other highlights: • Rechargeable via USB-C, with long battery life (many hours of riding). • Lightweight and versatile—great not just for biking, but also for walking the dog or jogging at night. • Compact yet powerful, making them useful in multiple scenarios. The cost is absolutely worth it for the peace of mind and safety these lights provide. If you want to dramatically increase your visibility on the road, this package is a smart investment. Highly recommended! Devo's Tested & Trusted Reviews- Honest Insights from real use.

App seems kinda not working .
I really wanted these I got them hooked to my Bluetooth but the app they're luminous app says I had to do a firmware update I have a 2022 Motorola phone which is plenty of memory and the front row update on their apple not do the update so you can't use the lights and the remote was more than a week out so unfortunately I had to return them I'm hoping to get the firmware update thing straightened out in a couple of months I'm going to try before winter and do this again hopefully

I had high hopes for the Lumos Firefly Mini bike lights, but they’ve turned out to be disappointing for the price. They are significantly overpriced for what they offer. - The brightness is underwhelming, especially on bright sunny days. - The app is unreliable — buggy and inconsistent. The Apple Watch app is great when it works, but that’s rare. It connects maybe once in twenty tries. - The magnets are strong enough to hold the lights in place, but the lights can be knocked off easily if accidentally bumped. - Some lights randomly switch to red blinking mode instead of staying in turn indicator mode. The only way to fix this is to restart the affected lights, which is frustrating when riding. Given the underwhelming features and performance, these lights should cost about third of their current price. Even with flawless app functionality and improved brightness, they wouldn’t justify their cost. They’re just lights — nothing particularly groundbreaking.
