Hard to clean
When the light is on, every speck of dust or lint shows up as well as smudges from cleaning the surface with a damp cloth and any kind of residue left. Scratches will be illuminated as well. It will never wipe completely clean since it attracts dust. Still, for the $ it's OK. Most likely more expensive versions will have the same problems . It will attract dust on both sides, not just the side you write on. At least the markers wipe off easily with a damp cloth.
