Q: Are the power wires long enough to run to the back of a 16 foot boat? Can I tap into power somewhere on the trolling motor instead?

Thanks for your question! Our power cord is long enough to reach a front battery compartment easily on most boats, but likely not the back of the boat. Many of our customers splice the ProNav power cable in directly with the trolling motor plug to ensure both are powered / disconnected together. Q: I have a 20 ft electric pontoon boat equip with a minn Kota set up with this work with my application it be nice for it to drive us on our Booz cruise

It’ll follow the track you plot. Not real sure how a booze cruise works. I use it for trolling and mapping.

Q: Do you need cell reception at all times for this to work?

No cell service is required. The product is designed to function offline using a wireless Bluetooth connection between mobile device and the GPS. Maps can be cached to your device to allow seamless off the grid use. Maps can also be loaded on the fly when mobile data or wifi are available.

Q: Will this work a with minnkota 1866150 ?

My personal thought is yes, but I’m not 100% sure. Contact the guys at ProNav. They are very helpful.
