These were great gifts for our 15 and 13 year old who don’t have cell phones. We chose to remove the social media and internet apps, leaving them with just music apps like Spotify and Apple Music. We can safely allow them to stream their playlists without fear of accessing adult only things like social media and websites. They work well with all their headphones and without headphones. If you’re a screen-free teen parent, this is a really great alternative.

Got this for my ten year old daughter she loves listening to music and books so this was perfect. She loves it

Bought it a few days ago. The physical build quality is excellent. The internal speaker is tinny as expected, but the included earbuds sound fantastic. OS response time in bringing up apps, swiping, etc., is great. I wanted it specifically for podcasts rather than music. The only app I can use for podcasts is Spotify. The unit is locked down to only the installed apps, so no Google Play Store, no ability to download other apps like I Heart Radio. That is the main disappointment for me. So if you're ok with only the installed apps, I recommend it. Otherwise, go for something else that includes Google Play Store capabilities.

Bad Product. I bought 2 of these items for my 2 grandchildren. Purchased them on 27 January 2025 and on or about mid mouth of March the battery went dead and was not able to hold a charge. Even while plugged in, the item would not power up. Then just a few days (June 25, 2025) ago the other one did the same thing. My return date on these items was February 7, 2025.Well, the company got my money that did not product a quality product. The product was made in China and it was impossible to get ahold of someone.Not sure how Amazon choose their vendors, but in this case, its was a bad chose in my opinion.

Size and ease of use are great. I am hard of hearing and even at it's loudest setting it is hard for me to hear it. The battery can get so hot that the player sits down.

Update! Customer service is great and responds very timely. They have one-year warranty and promptly sent us a new one after troubleshooting the issue failed.They are great when they work. Bought two for my girls and they lasted for about a month and a half. They won’t turn back on :/

Taking my sons ipad away was stressful but this gave us a great alternative to him still having music

Bought so my child could listen to her playlists on Amazon Music and Spotify Kids. I love how easy it is for her to use, but how it's also limited where I don't have to worry about her getting other apps I might not want her to have yet. Would purchase again.
