Ghost Whisperer - Season 2 [DVD]

Loved the first series ,this one even better ,Jennifer love Hewit ,a very underrated actress , beautiful and very likeable,and although each episode has a similar theme but different enough to enjoy

The Scream!!: I've bought Season 1 and 2 and do not think I'll bother with 3 etc ... So, Melinda has been seeing ghosts since the age of 8 yet still continues to scream 20 years later when she sees one - hello, surely you're used to this by now??? It's such an annoying and piercing scream and I sit there yelling 'will you shut up woman!!!' ... jeez!!! It is the most annoying girlie scream to exist ....MUTE button!!!Reiteration: The ghosts will speak messages which they want Melinda to pass onto their loved one and she always rewords them .. I bet they feel like saying 'I actually didn't say that, you've just reworded everything...'Why doesn't she just repeat what they have actually said??Observation: Wherever she goes, she always finds a parking spot - that must be fab - and it's right outside the shop / bar / place she's off to .. Every single time - never does she drive round in circles looking ..Leaves little to the imagination: Everyone else dresses accordingly - tastefully for funerals, jeans for the street, office wear for work - Melinda - everyday = short dress with a strappy top half that gets lower and more and more revealing - heals - even to a funeral!!! .. Hilarious ..Storyline: .. isn't great - I miss her friend who she worked with in the first season ... I think I'll read what happens in the following seasons ... I don't think this is for me .. Shame as I enjoyed the first few episodes of Season 1 ..

I love Ghost Whisper - i have just recently started building up my collection of the Ghost Whisper dvds - as i had watched most of the first season when it was on TV (only to be took off & swapped to a new channel) so i lost where i was. So i thought i'd start watching it from the start again & i am not disappointed - this is a fantastic series - really captures your attention & imagination & once you start watching you get hooked. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays a great part as Melinda Gordon - making the program very believable & real, her relationship with Jim is fantastic. I have some serious wardrobe envy when it comes to the character Melinda Gordon - not only do i love watching the show for the story lines but also to see what fabulous garment she will be wearing next. This season is fantastic - i'm now on to season 3 & it just keeps getting better.As a lover of the supernatural this is defiantly a program to watch!!

Tying in neatly with the finale of Season One and Melinda is trying to lay the ghost of her partner to rest. The season brings a new friend in the form of Delia Banks, who is unaware of Melinda's ability but her son accidently discovers the truth and Melinda has to bring Delia into her circle of friends who know of her ability. Melinda also befriends a professor at the local college who can give her insights into various aspects of her hauntings.Yet again the series delivers humour, shocks, good feelings and emotion in spades.Jennifer Love Hewitt is as sexy (if not more so) as she was in Season One and she is now so comfortable in the role of Melinda that she radiates that confidence in every episode.I really enjoyed every episode and (like the previous reviewer) am now eagerly awaiting the release of the third season.

I loved Ghost Whisperer and watched it from the very first time it aired on tv in the UK years ago. Season 2 is one of my favourites because, even though each episode has its own storyline, there is still a bigger storyline that builds up throughout the season. And that storyline is brilliant!! The episodes in this season were fabulous, and season 2 also introduced the character Professor Rick Payne who is my absolute favourite character in the show and offers great comedy moments. Ghost Whisperer is a fabulous US drama and I recommend it to everyone!! Be prepared for tears though - the episodes are so engaging and so emotional at times that you'll definitely need a few tissues at the ready!!

I love this series. Easy watching though series two is a little more horror than series one which was mild. Lots of interesting story lines. Though Jennifer Love Hewitt should sack her costume designer, some of her outfits are plain daft. And how many hairstyles can you have in one series? However, she manages to play a cute girl next door type well while fighting off demons like Buffy the Ghostbuster. Thought, if you have her gift and are going to talk to ghosts in public, wear a hands free kit and at least people will think you are talking on the phone..
