One of the best things about this book is that it is specifically about yarning hooking i.e. it is not about latch-hooking, and it is not about using strips of fabric.Other than that it is very clearly written, well laid out and contains lots of detailed colour photos.The book has a range of activities that get progressively more difficult, and also contains a bunch of templates at the back.A superb book for a beginner!

Ideal for the introduction to hooking and also for different projects after a day course. Projects are well covered from the patterns to wool colours and amounts.

Looking forward to using this for ideas in other makes as well as mini rugs.

Very helpful to get you started rug hooking with yarn or for more complex project ideas. Clear, step-by-step instructions with photographs. Most of the books on rug hooking are aimed towards an American audience, but this one is written by a UK author and is supported by her very useful website. Highly recommended!
